Bio Photo It's probably morbid to most but I have a blog which compiles newspaper articles that detail the many grave robberies that have occurred over the centuries, both in America and abroad.

Thanks for the transfer. If you ever get back to that cemetery it would be good to have a closer photo of the memorial and also see if his wife was buried nearby.
Much obliged,

May I have permission to use the photo of Baltus Coon's headstone in my family history?

Lucille B Corbett-mt olivet
I found her plot location on their database. and am letting you know her name is misspelled at the cemetery. they have her as Lucile B Corbett (not LUCILLE).

Thomas Davis grave robbery Onawa IA
Hi, I saw your post on Find a Grave about Thomas Davis of Onawa, you are correct in that it is Iowa not Illinois as I found the same article in the Omaha World Herald 27 Nov 1893 referencing Onawa Ia. I can send the article if you would like as I am unable to copy to this message. My email is kzt123@sbcglobal.net Thanks, Kim Davis

INFANT BIGLEY
Again...thanks so much for this additional newspaper article. I was wondering how this murder could have been done without the mother's knowing.

INFANT BIGLEY
Thanks so much for posting the "follow-up" on the grave robbery of Infant Bigley. It turned my stomach to read it but sure will make my husband's genealogy interesting to say the least.

INFANT BIGLEY
Just found your posting of Infant Bigley which was a newspaper article from the Detroit Free Press and dated October 16, 1897. This Bigley family is part of my husband's family. I was wondering if you had any "follow-up" article on this grave robbery?
