Interconnections of families within and between cemeteries fascinate me. Its like a giant puzzle. Each connection leads to another. |
My goal is to document these connections and if possible add short biographies with the help of descendants or other sources.
I want these people to have identities...to be more than just a stone in a cemetery. I want their lives to be more than a dash between birth and death dates.
I do have a special interest in the Civil War especially Iowa, Pennsylvania and Virginia since my roots lie in those states.
Surnames of family interest: Bonnett, King , Pollock, Keller, Harsch, Saffell.
Transferring entries is not a problem as long as I am not closely related.
Always happy to make corrections or additions.

|Donna Ledington||Regarding Cora Kenison|
She is the sister of my great grandfather. I submitted some edits that haven't ben processed. If you would care to transfer her to me I would appreciate it.. Information in her memorial isn't accurate and I would like to update it.. Cannot find a link to a David Kenison
for her, but I know she was married to a Herbert L Caffee in 1905 and a second marriage to an O E Baker in 1926.. I have the marriage license info for the second marriage.
Thanks for your help

Could you add my 3rd ggrandfather Sargent Leonard Field to the 37th Iowa Virtual Cemetery please. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=82842068. Thanks. Bob Fields.
I just wanted to thank you for all of the information you have passed on to me in the past. I am almost caught up with my dereliction of duties. I have been out of touch for quite a while. Sorry for the delay. But thank you again.

Just curious if your entry Find A Grave#105645953 is the same person as Find A Grave#96818320? Thanks.

I uploaded two images to Capt. Washington Galland's memorial. The obituary is shown in the obituary caption. You can cut & paste to include on the bio. I also sent some changes to the DoB & DoD. Thanks for amending. Thomas

|Cathy Gray||Byron and Olive Aylsworth|
Yes, Byron and Olive were husband and wife. They were my GGGrandparents. I may have some other information about them as well. They do show up in the Crawford Cty, Iowa censuses as well as their daughter Grace, my GGrandmother. Grace seems to be their only child from my records and what I have been able to find. Thanks,

Hi and thanks for so many Civil War memorials. My GGGrandfather Chas Barker, Lt Co H, 25th Iowa is memorial 41621223 if you would like to add him to your virtual cem. Also, I have a virtual cem for Co E, 33rd Iowa with about 45 souls. Another GGGrandfather Benj Cruzen was the last surviving member of Co. E. Wounded Jenkins Ferry POW Tyler Texas. Please use any of my collection for yours of the 33rd. Thanks to you , I found a couple that were missing from my Co E final muster.
