Several years ago my Father asked me to find out as much about his family as I could as his Dad had not been around much when he was younger and his parents eventually divorced. That simple request sent me on my journey that now includes my husband and my children and takes me to Canada, Europe, and the Hawaiian Islands with the long history of the Kohala Coast. The importance of doing family research was strongly reenforced with the sudden passing of my 25 year-old daughter, Sara, in 2010. Now my husband and I jointly take pictures for other families in hopes of putting their families together, if only years later.|

Updated her memorial. Thank-you.

Am traveling overseas and will make corrections you suggested when time and Internet connection allow. Didn't want you to think I was ignoring your request !
|Margaret Gibson||Re: Clyde's Wife...|
Again I wish I could help you but her grave is on Molokai. It is a part of Maui Co. but still another island than I live on. I'm sorry.
I forgot to say that my husband is also related to the families he documented by photos and transcriptions while visiting Redfield during a reunion, so you are distantly related to him.

|Margaret Gibson||Re: Clyde Sproat|
Susan, I live on Maui so can't take the photo you requested, BUT might have info on your Raymond line! Just helped a family member redo his "tree". He lives Honokaa and has 30 Raymond's in it, and also the Sproat's! Clyde's brother was an old rodeo friend of mine. Please get back to me if I can help.
Aloha, Margaret Gibson

About 900 of the 5000+ graves (Mount Olive burials + those graves moved from St. Peters in 1914) have visible stones at this time. Mount Olive is completely African-American, historically so. The last burials I have been able to document are about 1972-1973.
