You are quite welcome

I aplogize, I did find his gravestone I will be uploading it as soon as I send out this message to you. I knew I had only found 2 or 3 out of 16 or more photo requests for Pleasant Valley. Glad I found his stone after all.

I had the hardest time locating this cemetery, I kept confusing it with Mt. Pleasant which is also in Parke County but quite a distance in the opposite direction. Nice older cemetery still being used. Sad that so many graves were unmarked.

I no longer add articles to the photo sections so feel free to add it to his memorial. I'll delete my unknown burial this evening to give you a chance to save it in case you haven't already.
|Debbie (Strain) Gillam||Strain Clan in South Carolinia|
I am looking for anyone who might have information John Strain Sr born abt 1795 in South Carolina and died 1849 in Shelby County, Alabama he married Margaret Jane Miller May 2,1826 in Shelby County Alabama. I haven't been able to get no information on the South Carolina Clan some suggest he was born Abbeville, South Carolina. I do not know who his parents are as yet have not found any info and nobody else has either. I am also a "STRAIN" before marriage. William Strain Sr is my great great grandfather the son of John Strain Sr. These are my ancestors. His children were John Strain Jr, william Strain Sr, Robert Strain, Jane Strain, Martha Strain. Saw this memorial thought would not hurt to see if anyone has information on the south Carolinia clan. Thanks.
