I have been working on family history for several years. I work is mainly with the lines of Mayo, Ogg, Leibfritz, Pemberton, Proctor, Hawkins, Hancock, Moore, Pigg, Blanton, Turney, Raney/Rainey, and Scott families and various other branches of the families. My in-laws are Powers, Simpkins, Everett, Jennings, Bass, Cook and Taylor Most of the relatives came from Ireland, Scotland, England and Germany.|
Most of my research has been in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Texas.
If any of the memorials I have created are in your line (but not in mine) I will be happy to transfer same to your care. Any changes or corrections you have are welcomed.
I am working in Find A Grave to get most of the family listed there and asking the professional ancestry contributors that have made basic entries to transfer them to a family member or to me so that we can get the families linked and make sure the information is as correct as possible to make it possible for other members to find their loved ones. Pictures of markers or headstones have been a blessing for those of us who have been unable to travel to the cemetery. Also we find where members of past generations are buried when this information is lost.
Always interested in contact with anyone who is a relative and might have more information, pictures, etc. Verification of information is extremely important.

Thank you Wanda! I put it in. Learned something new today.

Wanda: When I have more time I will pull out where I received my information. It is on a website that documented the BINKLEY/BINGELLI origins from Suisse (Switzerland) via Alsace-Lorriane. I will try to get to that some time at the end of this March. I am covered up the first half of the month.
I know. There are many who use that name and there is no way to track them. Evidently in this case, someone familiar with the burial. Why don't you set up a cemetery and Call it the Everett Family Cemetery - Saundersville Ferry Road or Everett Family - with name of the oldest burial there and in the Cemetery description add that it is on Saundersville Ferry Rd. That will distinguish it from the other one. Then you can move Tina there and add any others that you wish.

Hello Wanda. The information I have states that Sally and William Goodin had one son, she died from child birth complications, then Goodin married Rhoda Pemberton, they had two sons, she also died from child birth complications, then he married Amy and they had six children.
Sally and Amy were sisters to my great-grandpa, Josiah Hudson.

Her husband name is Fred Bryant, He was the son of Peter Bryant. Peter was a brother to Edmon Bryant who was my Great Grandfather. Peter and his wife Sarah lived a couple of miles from me. They are buried on that farm. I go to their graves sometimes.

Thank you for the information. I have made the correction. I rely on Dan Buckley's research for most of the data. I had relied on one of Dan's sites (worldconnect/rootsweb) that had not been updated with the new information on George's three wives.

Well, I learned something new today. I reordered all the books I could find on Boone Co., MO. cemeteries that were check-out-able and got 1 I hadn't had yet. TOMBSTONE RECORDS OF BOONE COUNTY, MISSOURI. I don't know how I missed it. There is another one in today ready for pickup. So far, I haven't found the one with Pembertons in it, BUT I did find just a Starke Cemetery with 2 men in it... Starkes, of course, a father and son, and in little tiny hand writing next to it it says The farm of John Pemberton.

Wow. That was back in 2012 and I'm an old woman, but because I didn't say what newspaper it was from, it wasn't. It had to have been a book from the genealogical library in Independence. They allow me to check them out from my local branch and have them at home. This book had to have been one that was cemeteries in Boone County, Mo.
I looked back at my library account to see if it would show past checkouts, and, alas, no. However it did give me the names of those that can be checked out and there are 3...
Cemetery records of Boone Countyt, Missouri by Ellsberry, Elizabeth Prather, 1923
Tombstone records of Boone County, Missouri by Evans, Rella Bright
Tombstone transcriptions of Boone County, Missouri by Floyd H. Strader
Would you like me to check them out again and see what I can find? It will take a few days for them to get them out to my branch, but I would be happy to do that, if you'd like me to.

Most libraries will send you obituaries for a fee. You don't have to visit in person.
I found the obituary for John Wesley Pemberton and it does confirm your information. Thanks for your help.
