Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid genealogist and am extremely interested in corresponding with other family researchers working on their various early TROUT lines (all spelling variations) arriving in America during the 1700s from Germany, England, and Canada. I take great pleasure in frequently assisting other TROUT researchers with their family lines.

On the Trail
John and William Trout 16th GA Infantry CSA
Hi Craig

Do you have any additional information about John W Trout b. 10 Mar 1839, Jackson County GA and his brother William R Trout b. 1838 in Jackson County GA? I am researching the 16th Regt Georgia Vol Infantry and have very little information about these two men. I sent a detailed email but thought Id follow up just in case you see this message before you check email.

Siblings of Tabitha Graves Trout
I checked but could not find any of Tabitha Graves Trout siblings on Find A Grave. It is always hard finding female siblings unless you know their married name (or their maiden name is recorded).
Have you come across any of the following:
Keziah Ann Graves'
2a. Daughter: Rachel Susan, during 1850 Census age was 3, during 1860 Census age was 13
3a. Daughter: Serelda, during 1850 Census age was 1, during 1860 Census age was 10 and named Sorilda
4a. Daughter: Catrin, during 1860 Census age was 7. Her full name was Mariah Cartrin Graves and died in 1873
5a. Daughter: Eineline, during 1860 Census age was 3
6a. Son: Martin, during 1860 Census age was 2 1/2

I Remember When
Ida Trout Maring
Thank you so much for sponsoring Ida Maring's page. She obviously was a very well thought of woman in early day Carthage and she and her husband were quite well known.

Yes, I worked 31 years on a bridge gang. I got a disability retirement 12 years ago.

You are very welcome. Glad to help. Are you related to Bob Jr.? I worked with him on the R.R. for a short time in 1974.

Love what you have done with the Trout side of your family. Wondering if you are planning any Masterson DNA. My father is your cousin. (Walter's youngest son with Clarice)

Great! Didn't want to link her without knowing for sure. I transferred her to you.

This is a very large cemetery with all flat markers. If you could call the office and find the location of this burial we would be glad to look for it. We can only ask for three locations without being charged. 740-452-2236

Would you happen to have any information for her? If she is still alive, she would be about 90 now. Not sure what is happening with her. Jacki Earp

One more
Photo uploaded for the most recent four memorials you created. I have one more Trout stone, for Doris M. Trout, Melrose section, November 29, 1932 - December 16, 2000. Want to create this one too?
