After extensive research for 30 years, I am still searching for answers to questions about my ancestors. My families are Hendrix/Hendricks,Johnson, Edge, McCulloch, Hill, Kitchens, Neal, Roper, Rosser, Posey, Box, Reynolds, Terry, McBride, Linton, Owen, Graham, Holland, McCrary. If I have put info on some of our common ancestors and you want to add more info, let me know because sharing helps all of us.

Find A Grave transferred about 9,000 memorials to me that MULDER had entered. I will be glad to transfer any of those memorials to someone with info to add.

Katie Presley Roper
Katie Roper was my 2nd Great Grandmother. Your entry for Katie Roper has her listed as maiden name, Presley. I know that the second son was named Presley and that there was a John Pressley or Pressly or Presley family one page over in the 1850 Census that had two daughters whose names began with the initial C and either could have been Catherine or Katie and married Nelson Roper. Do you have any other sourcing for the maiden name Presley?

Eggleston's in Courtland Cemetery
Thanks for the obits and pictures.....Eunice Eggleston and Oscar Pippen Eggleston were my great aunt and uncle. My mother is Eunice (Mrs. Wallace) Mosman and my uncle is Julius Hudson.

My mom is currently 88 and is in a nursing home in our home of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. while her brother, Julius is 92 and is in an assisted living facility in Knoxville, Tn.

They would appreciate the info you have here about their aunt and uncle.

And I thank you as well, for them.
