Bio and Links
Bio Photo "The country newspaper is truly a family record. It proclaims your marriage, it announces the birth of your children, it gives the obituary notice of a loved one of your family. It not only gives your family record, but the family record of your neighbors. Many do not realize the benefit their home paper is to them."
The Newton County News August 14, 1890

My count is unbalanced because I maintain many memorials for several contributors that are no longer on Find a Grave.

Hi Neta, as far as I know we are not kin and I didn't request the transfers. They were transferred to me as a help to a friend. THANKS! Pat

Thank you for the wonderfully written bio, which I have gladly added to his memorial. The photo is okay and I certainly want you to leave it there. If you read the photo guidelines, it does mention that photos of the person's home are acceptable. I have done the same thing. Your local historical society should be commended for keeping your local history alive.

What is interesting to me is how you came across Andrew and Katherine's memorials, given that I just added them last month!

Take care, and keep up the good work.

Regards,
B.J.

Anna Amick photo
Thank you for posting the photo of the marker for Anna Amick in Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO. and thanks for sending me a note to let me know.
The photo is excellent. The marker is very pretty and a little unusual also.

RE: Laura Burr
Thanks so much for updating the record! I have been looking for Laura for a long time. Of eight children, my great-grandmother was the oldest and Laura was in the middle.

RE: Nelson and Orie Yankie
Since these Yankies are the grandparents and great grandparents of your two fiends, I'm sure they have plenty to add. I am proud to be a direct descendant of the very first Yankies who arrived from Germany, and can stay busy with the ones I do maintain. All the best in your endeavors.

Thank you,
Nancy Yankie Sidarous

Mansell
I appreciate the birthday celebration article you posted on Elizabeth Mansell's (#87629848) memorial! She is my husband's 3x great grandmother. Are you by chance related? I am not looking for a transfer. I have enough to keep up with my own genealogy as well as friend's genealogy! I was just wondering if you were related and had any other info on her.

Carisa :)
