George Nicol
In your children on George E. Nicol, you have Ralph Wayne Nicol listed as the deceased infant son of George. Ralph was born in 1932. He is alive and well. He lives in Lufkin Texas and spends much of his time as a missionary in Mexico.I believe the infant you are talking about may be the child of Herman and Edith Nicol. I was the wife of Earl Ray Nicol and the daughter-in-law of George.
May I also ask where you got this picture?
My e-mail is Cursorium@hughes.net
Feel free to e-mail if you wish.

Minerva Jane Shelley Beeson
There is an error in the family data of Minerva Jane Shelley Beeson. She is not the sister of Gen. Nathan George Shelley. She was his first cousin, being the daughter of Gen. Shelley's uncle Jacob Davis Shelley and wife Mary (Polly) Cravens. Gen. Shelley is my great grand uncle. I have data to support his siblings and cousins.
Is it possible to correct this data? Several family researchers have been confused by this error.

Also, there are several records which give her place of birth as Alabama rather than Louisiana, but I have not researched this completely. I have observed her marriage record in the Talladega Marriage Book A which gives her first name as Manerva rather than Minerva. These are things to be researched further.

John Thomas Walker & Ann Elizabeth "Bettie" Mitchell
First I want to thank you for the fantastic job you did of researching John Thomas Walker & Ann Elizabeth "Bettie" Mitchell. I am working sideways on John Thomas Walker in that his mother, Mary Ann Slack married first George W. Walker and John Thomas Walker was their only child. Until today I had NEVER found any information on John Thomas Walker other than his mother left him $1.00 in her will.

Mary Ann (Slack) Walker married second Rufus Latimus Fisher, and they, too, are buried in the Weimar Masonic Cemetery. I am a Fisher researcher; I have researched them and have posted them on Find A Grave.

I still hope to locate and document father George W. Walker and John Thomas Walker's deaths and burials. Step by step....

Thank you again!
