Howdy, folks... Long time, no see. I am the infamous girlsarcastic--I AM sarcastic, but I tend to temper things with a reasonably good sense of humor and common sense. Sometimes.
Anyhoo... things have been quite busy in my life. I am newly engaged to a wonderful guy that I've been dating now for 2 years. We're planning our wedding for May of 2010 so that I can best adjust into becoming a stepmom without going bananas... or only slightly more crazy than I already am, I s'pose. We're currently house-hunting as we'd like a place with room for a family to grow in. I'm thinking about my future in general and about the work I currently do, and if I should move toward a position that offers a better retirement plan. Hey, I'm 32, but if I don't plan now, come my 60's, I'll be SOL.
What I like: nice people, board games, puzzles, reading, sunsets. What I don't enjoy: people who are insensitive about someone once they've passed, and gossipy folk.
I've missed my FAG folk... and I just found out that Henk Orie passed away, which greatly saddens me. I wonder if anyone else is thinking of doing a flower circle, to pass the torch and continue Henk's work. If so, I would be interested in joining or helping somehow. I'll be around. Drop me a line if you'd like...

I'm doing some research on my mother's side of our family which are mostly all dead except. I noticed your flower for Anna Mae Smith (Mem. #2972409) and wondered if you or someone you know may be related to her? I'm thinking she may be my grandfather's mother. (Kenneth Doyle Hickman.)
