Memorial# 16558117
The memorial for Catherine Kelley Hines links her to Anna Hammond, as her mother, and John Hammond, as her brother. Those links are not correct. Catherine was not the daughter of Anna Hammond Dennis and not the sister of John Dennis. Although Catherine was living with David and Anna Dennis for the 1860 census, she was not their daughter and was not in their household in 1850.

1850 Census Jackson County, OH Washington Township 673 Roll 698 Book 1, Page 337a/337b)
David Dennis 45 yrs farmer born Maryland
Anna Dennis 45 born Ohio
Mary J Dennis 21 Ohio
Lucy Ann 19 Ohio
Edward 15 Ohio
Asia (m) 13 Ohio
Andrew 10/11 (age smudged) Ohio
John 8 Ohio

James McVey
Howdy Harvey! Got your message on James McVey. I changed the spelling to match the headstones and I noticed that James seemed to use the "McVey" spelling of the name. Most of our McVay line (including James McVey's ancestors - grandfather, great-grandfather, etc.) and all of my McVay relatives (who are also related to this James McVey) use the spelling "McVay." It gets confusing. Basically the name is McVay though, with a few in the family using the other spelling. I made a note of that on his memorial in case anyone gets confused : )

Frances Minear Pherigo Cem
I have posted 2 photos, Francis had a space on the headstone with her husband Perry and then she is buried with her own stone. It is the same person. If you do not want both on there it is fine or if you want to put a note on the memorial, just an FYI.

Hi Harvey,

Would you have a copy of the death certificates for these two memorials and would you be willing to share those certificates?

Clelland Family
My husband Robert Nowels is the grandson of Robert C. H. Clelland (69538411) and Magdlene S. Stewart Clelland (69538434) plus a relative of the rest of the Clellands in the Green City Cemetary.

Robert was born in Green City and was named after his Grandfather.

Will you please transfer these relatives to me. I am a contributor of Find a Grave. Thank you for the care you have given our relatives.

Thank you
Audrey Nowels

Florence Elizabeth (Bollman) Allen - #21924616
Hi Harvey,

Was wondering where you got your information regarding the names of Florence's parents? Or, did Marsha have that information on the memorial when you took over its care?

Another family historian and I are in the process of confirming who her parents were. I know for sure that her father was William Curtis Bollman. However, her mother is a bit up in the air although we're pretty sure it was Ambernetta. The birth record for Florence shows she was born 4 months before William & Ambernetta were married. It shows William as the father but has a "Hattie" as the mother. Think the Hattie may be William's mother as that is her name and can't find a marriage record for William & "Hattie".

Research continues! Meanwhile, could you please change the name of Florence's father from Bowmon to Bollman?

Thanks so much!

Biography Listing
hi Harvey,

A few years ago I had a list that was originally compiled by Marsha Sears, which contained at least many of the individuals in the Deeds Cemetery along with biographical information she had been able to gather on them. All of my hard copy and my computer genealogy records were stolen almost two years ago, so I am having to re-gather copies of all of the documents that prove my online family tree. Do you know whether this list is still available, and if so could you please let me know how to get a copy?
