I have been adding several SD cemeteries ... if you find a relative that you would like to manage ... just let me know ... I'm more than happy to work with you and transfer to you ... if they are indeed related to me ... well that's a different story ... but I won't just clam on to a last name and keep it just because I have relatives with that name ... |
I have been doing genealogy since I was in the 4th grade and filled out the Family Bible ... I had a family Tree program in the '80's for my Commodore 64 ... so you can see it has been more than 10 years of labor ...
all pictures I post on memorials ... contact me for permission ...

Hi Connie, I believe I know who this is. Can you place this person at the cemetery for certain? Someone else has him at Riverview Cem. in Chamberlain, SD. Can you give me any more info.? I am researching the Marsh/Somers family from the Gregory and Lyman County areas. - Audra Hansche, Santa Fe, NM
Somehow I assume we are related. My mother's last name is Caldwell and my grandmother's maiden name was McKean (Jewel McKean....she married Elmer Caldwell). Somewhere (my mom knows where), my grandfather, Elmer, created a family tree for both the caldwell and mckean family...he traced them all the way back to Ireland. I don't know if you would be interested or not to see it--or maybe you have a copy.

Thank you for your reply and for the information as to where you found Mae's maiden name. I appreciate your help.

You sent me an edit for Mae A. Reed, showing her maiden name as MAYER. In what record did you find this information? Do you know if her parents were Aaron and Cora MAYER?
Are you related to this family, and if so, how are you related?

Thank You for the info.
Now if I could find out where?

My dad's ashes will be placed in the Herrick cemetery at the end of July. We are wanting our brother to be able to attend the committal. THank you for all that you have done to make it easier for people to keep track of their roots! Kris

Just introduced to this site by a friend and looked up my grandpa. My father Donald Edward Beauchamp needs to be added to the list of children. He was born Aug. 11 1933 and died April 3 2016. Thank you for doing this. Kris

Have you requested from the other contributor to MERGE these two memorials and for permission move her headstone transfer. When you do, I will look at transferring it back to you.

I have sent you an email about these 2 memorials. at Pleasant Lawn
|S PRICE Nance||Rosaline Schmoll Beck|
You were the contributor of memorial 69121906 in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery. A couple years ago you transferred this memorial to our family. There is a confusion that Rosaline Beck being buried at Pleasant Lawn without a headstone. I located her on the South Dakota Death Index dying in 1944. Her husband John Beck (buried at Zion Cemetery, Delmont) remarried and was buried with his second wife at Zion's. Could you tell me the documentation for this memorial. Did her burial come from a Pleasant Lawn Cemetery list? There is another Rosaline Kandl Beck and John Beck buried at Pleasant Lawn, which is documented as husband and wife. This is such an unusual situation and if you could help us in any way with the memorial for Rosaline Beck that you contributed will be so gratefully appreciated. Thank you.
