I was born in Lancaster County, South Carolina, grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, then relocated to Alpharetta, Georgia in 1995. My relationship to God is most important; family is second.|
Findagrave.com is a wonderful avenue to research our ancestry and remember those family members who have passed from this realm.

I have connected him to his parents. Would you like for me to transfer his memorial to you?

Thank you for the additional information. If he is related to you and you'd like him transferred to you and his wife, please let me know.

I visited this cemetery today. It is in deplorable condition. I could not find the grave market you requested. Many of the headstones have been thrown into the woods along the railroad tracks or piled up under a tree. Very few headstones remain standing. Such a shame....you would think that the town or university would do something to preserve this history. This would be a wonderful civic project for a fraternity, boy scout troop or historical society.

I have done a lot of research on the Holden family. Etta Holden my Great Grandmother was a daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth Holden. Do you know what Martha's madden name might had been? I have not located any documents that show.

I see that you left a flower for Martha Holden 67860215. She is my 3rd Great Grandmother. Are you part of the Holden family?

...was my grandfather's youngest sister and she had no children. Would you consider transferring her memorial to me? Thanks.

Feel free to contact me anytime about whatever. It's no bother if you send somthing twice. I'll just remind you. I enjoy working with people.

I hope you enjoyed the holidays. About Henry Holden, as far as years of birth/death are concerned, we can use only four digit numbers so I can't enter 1804/1806. That's why I put the note indicating he was 74 years old. I'd rather have that type of note on a memorial than have the wrong year of birth. Is that agreeable with you or do you have another suggestion?

You sent a birth year of 1898. His tombstone has 1900.
