Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.

My passions in life are my family, genealogy,
gardening,and writing.

I started climbing my family tree when I was twelve, and haven't stopped yet!

I have enjoyed taking some "roots vacations" to
Illinois and Pennsylvania. Genealogy naturally leads you to the world of history. I enjoy American History very much.

Many of my ancestors came to America for religious reasons. I have traced them through
just about every war that America has taken part in.

"Turning Hearts" comes from the last verse in The Old Testament, Malachi 4: 6.

Findagrave.com is one of my very favorite websites.

QUOTES THAT I LIKE:

It is a second death after you are forgotten.
How many generations does it take, even in a close knit family, for the fabric to unravel....?
Albert Lewis, Jewish Rabbi

"And death hath come upon our fathers; nevertheless we know then, for a Book of Remembrance we have written among us, according to the pattern of God." Moses 6: 45-46

You have a photo request for Joseph Diller at Franklin Cemetery. According to cemetery records, he is buried in section I72 but has no marker.

RE: Ent
I am glad to help. I photographed 40-50 headstones for the Ent family in the Bloomsburg PA area. I will be uploading more and adding burial records as soon as I can. I am a descendant of Peter Ent (my 3rd great grandfather). His grave site is the oldest of my direct descendant that I have been able to find so far. My lineage extends back to 1733 and Valentine Endt who arrived aboard the Pennsylvania Merchant. I am fairly new to geneology, but have been fascinated since I started doing research on ancestry.com a few weeks ago.

Wanted to let you know that there is no stone for this 8-month old infant. He is buried in an area of hundred of unmarked graves, all singles plots. I have posted all photos of stones from that particular area and had none for him. It's a sad area although well-maintained. The best I can do for you is add a photo of the area, so let me know. I checked for an obit and found nothing that would give more info other than his age that was posted on the cemetery records.

Sorensen
So I'm going to post the pics for Stella and John Sorensen, but the grave was literally buried in grass overgrowth. I tried to clean it off the best I could with my hand, but if you want me to go back when the weather is better (and I take shears with me or something) in a few months I totally will.

Charles Holman (1829-1915) in Crawford County
Hi there - I know you had provided some info for me for Charles Holman in the past. Luckily, today I found his death certificate!! He was listed incorrectly as "Chas Hobman." He died in Mercer County, PA in 1915, so I updated his memorial with the info. His death cert. gives his birth date as Aug. 13 and I wonder if you had sent me the date of August 19. Do you know which one is correct?

Jonathan Holman in Crawford County
Hi there - I just got (and approved) your updates for Jonathan Holman in Crawford County. Is this a family member of yours? Would you like me to transfer Jonathan and his wife to you? His son, Charles, married a relative of mine, so I'm not blood-related to this family (that I know of : ) If you would like their memorials, just let me know : ) Thanks!
