Thanks to my grandmother, I have always been a graver, starting out at an early age. I have an intense passion for American History, Aviation & Nasa, (Especially of the 60s and 70s). Needless to say I am also a huge sports fan. GO DAWGS!! My graving forte is Arlington National Cemetery, which is in my opinion the greatest history lesson in the United States. There is nothing quite like the atmosphere at ANC. I always cherish my visits there.

I am hoping you will put the photo of my gr. gr. gr. uncle in his civil war finery back on the picture of his gravesite. It is a wonderful photo.
I also left messages about he and Mary's children: They were:

James Jackson Purman
The reason I want to know this is my gg grandmother had a picture of a Jackson Purman in a civil war uniform. Wondering if this is him?

How can I find the parents of James Jackson Purman. ? He had to be born in 1841 according to his obit. Wondering if he was the son Of John James Purman and Barbara Burns Purman. They had sons David Gray Purman and Nathaniel Nelson who also served in the 140th Regiment Pa Volunteers .
