I was wondering if there was any stories from his Navy career during WWII. My cousin was on the ship that he allegedly commanded the USS Navajo that was sunk by a Japanese Submarine in the Pacific.

Thanks very much, Adam, I really appreciate your assistance. I have lots of research yet to do and can see this project taking quite a while.
