Thomas Jackson Holtzclaw (1889-1961)
I have scans of his Washington Post wedding announcement to Lydia A. "Lucy" Ward, announcement dated 16 Dec 1916 (they were married 14 Dec 1916) and his obituary, dated 27 Jul 1961 (he passed on 24 Jul 1961). Apparently he and Lydia were no longer married because it names a woman named Virginia as his wife, who she apparently had children of her own before her marriage to him because, while it does mention his and Lydia's only son, Walter D. Holtzclaw, it also names 4 other children: Walter & William Farren, Kathleen Schade and Shirley Robinson, as well as his surviving siblings, Henry Holrzclaw and Loulie Kramer. I'd like to either email it to you, or upload it to his memorial if you'd like... Please contact me and let me know which you'd prefer. Email me at, please.

Thank You,

Luana Dawn Alger

His memorial # is 146644283

I sent you an email a bit ago to thank you for entering my father to this site. And by your last name we may be related, so I have names in case we are. I did not want to get into the family names on this open of a forum at first.I sincerely hope to hear back from you regarding my email! Have an awesome day!

George Rankin

Thanks for catching my error! I had a George William Rankin next to George Wayne Rankin & I copied the wrong middle name. I have fixed it.

Thank you Gary for the update for Jan. She and I worked together at Kodak for years and were very close friends. I left Virginia and moved away losing touch with her and many others of our Kodak family. I had heard she had passed and was heart broken. She nursed me through my first heart attack, which happened in the office. I know she is missed by so many. I did not realize she and Neal had moved to Delaware until I started looking at some records.

I am looking for her DC but have not found as of yet but I will keep looking.
