I Love doing Genealogy, I hope to be able to put a complete book together of my family from the county of Oregon, township of Thomasville.|
The family names are: Moore, Watson, House, Trantham,Judd's, Huddleston.
I'm still doing much research so more names maybe added to the family.
My mother Vera Odessa (Moore)Phillips is the daughter of George Wesley & Mary Melinda (Watson)Moore. The granddaughter of Tabitha (house)Watson & Samuel Hansford Watson.
I am the daughter of Vera Odessa (Moore)Phillips & Floyd Raymond Phillips of Black Missouri. Black Missouri no longer exhist. It was taken over by Licking Missouri. My Grandparents on the Phillips side are buried at Boone Creek Cemetery just outside of Licking along with Smiths from my Grandmother Phillips side of the family
We are Missouri Natives and stretch far and wide Through out the Ozarks up to St. Louis where I'm located. My Moore & Watson family are buried at Union Hill Cemetery located in the county of Oregon.

I saw your information on the internet about Thomas Fretwell Phillips. I have a good deal of interesting, but contradictory information about him. He is one of my direct ancestors from Randolph county, VA/WV.
His descendant Dora Belle Phillips was my great-grandmother. My sister currently lives in Elkins, WV just 3-4 miles from Beverly, WV where Thomas was a Trustee for the formation of Randaolph County.
I would like to compare notes if you would like to communicate.

I have been transcribing St Johns Cemetery in Hampton, VA and have finished my picture taking of all legible stones. I did not find him. However, the cemetery book in the library did list a plot number and I will got back to that plot and see what is there. Give me another week or so. Thanks.
