Bio and Links
Bio Photo My dad's family settled mainly in Dunn County, with some in Barron County (Dovre Township). My mom's family all settled in Barron County. These two counties hold special meaning to me, and I am located within short driving distance for research.

My mom and I do most of our research together. One of us carries a notebook, the other a camera! Many of the profiles that we have created are family; however, we tend to add as many additional profiles as we are able to when visiting cemeteries or reviewing obituaries.

Find A Grave is a very special site. It is tied directly to, and those doing research can gets "hints" from Find A Grave. Adding profiles gives online researchers yet another resource to locate information on an ancestor.

Should you come across a profile that is a direct relation, please let me know. I am happy to transfer the profile, so long as the individual is not one of our relatives. We try to obtain photos of each stone located in a cemetery when we visit one. Sometimes it takes awhile!:)

My ultimate goal for Find A Grave is to provide a continued story for those who we have lost. I try to respond to messages and emails quickly, but please feel free to message me again if I haven't taken care of a profile update. I would like for the information that I add to be as complete as possible.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a message for me.

Memorial Transfers
Hi Sandi K,
I was wondering if you would transfer the following pages to me. They are all relatives of ours:
Raymond N Holmstrom #103772698 husband's uncle

Helen M Kovich Holmstrom #13843049 wife of Raymond

Steven Lynn Holmstrom #43154213 first cousin and childhood friend

I would also like two names on your list:
Ralph Leroy Johnson #106911469 husband's grandfather

Jessie Garda Olson Johnson #106911565 husband's grandmother.
Ralph and Garda only had one daughter, who was my husband's mother.

I did read that you would transfer if it wasn't a relative, but would you please consider these two memorials? My husband was very close to them, and I know he would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your consideration. And thank you, too, for the info on the other Johnson sites. It's really awesome!

Wayside Cemetery
I am working on submitting a Daughters of the American Revolution application through Jennie M Hart Knutson. You have her listed as being buried in Wayside Cemetery. DAR will not accept information on Find A Grave unless they can read what is on the tombstone. There is no picture of Jennie's tombstone. I'm wondering if you obtained the information from a transcription of the cemetery. If you did, could you tell me where you found the transcription? I can find an Index where her name is listed - but not the actual transcription. Your help is greatly appreciated - as we live in New Mexico.

Dear Sandi K:

Thank you for advance permission to use you Find A Grave photos. You have no idea how much we who are of an age (I’m 86) or distance and cannot do the hands-on research we once did appreciate the effort and passion of you who contribute your research information to the Internet. Many thanks from an old lady.

My treatise is in no way a profit making project and will not (by my request) be posted on the internet nor will living individuals be included to the best of my ability.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due and I usually use “Courtesy, Sandi K.(unless you provide and permit use of your full name), contributor, Find A Grave Memorial # ?.” If this is not agreeable, I would gladly use whatever you prefer. Where no credit is requested, I use “Courtesy of Find A Grave contributor who wishes to remain anonymous.”

I would prefer to hear from you personally but, if I do not hear by Apr. 30, I will assume you have no objections to my working.
