Falls Cemetery is privately owned and was platted in 1861. It has expanded and grown to 67 acres situated on a beautiful, rolling hills landscape. Hundreds of pioneer and founding family members are interred, including those from the Hanna Cemetery relocated in 1907. Honored interred veterans include over 330 from the Civil War, plus hundreds from the War of 1812, Mexican-American and Spanish-American Wars, World Wars I and II, Korean conflict, Viet Nam and subsequent wars.|
The Friends of Falls Cemetery was organized in August 2009 consisting of Wabash area residents who are largely descendants of the 13,000+ souls interred. It was officially sanctioned and its work approved and encouraged by the Wabash Cemetery Society, Inc. board of directors on November 17, 2009.
It is our goal to accurately and respectfully document the lives and relationships of those interred in Falls Cemetery. We further strive to present them in the best possible manner with biographies, histories and obituaries whenever possible, and will include plot locations and attractive tombstone photography. Additions and corrections to these memorials are welcome as are new participants in our group. Upon request, we will gladly transfer memorials to family members, and will give consideration to out-of-guideline relationships. Existing FindAGrave memorials may be (temporarily) transferred to us for research and photography.

That's was the wrong info you sent me...my ancestor is RICHARD BENSON PHILLIPS..he died in 1922. The info you sent was on RICHARD B. Phillips. I may have not sent you enough information to know which one. I am sorry.

Do you know if anyone has any information on Richard Benson Phillips buried in Falls Cemetery in Wabash Indiana? I noticed your group on his page and thought I'd give it a shot.I have been researching his family for years with little luck.Thanks for your time.

|Kathryn Cox||McNary entries|
Thanks so much for posting these entries. And I so appreciate the obituaries as I like to learn as much about relatives as possible. Joseph's grandfather is my GGG grandfather so we are distant cousins. Your time and thoughtfulness are much appreciated. Kathryn
Thank you very much for the information you have provided me for this person

|Kent D. Myrick||RE: Edith Unthank|
Thanks for the obituary!! I never knew she had any children. Now I'll try to trace the daughter.
|Jenny Calvin||RE: Clyde Olive|
Thanks so much for adding the fascinating news articles! But I think the reporter in the 2nd article gets a D- for his research. :-) Clyde had been married less than a year (married in April 1898); he left behind a son, not a daughter; he was survived by 5 brothers, not 3; he was the third of six children, not the youngest; and his parents were M/M David H. Olive, not A. F. But what a sad story! I was wondering how he died so young. Thanks again!

On Sara's memorial, you've linked her to James Vaughan as her father. His memorial is # 3544768. Based on your photos and other linked memorials, I believe Sara's father is James Jackson, # 33544768. The numbers are almost identical, except James Jackson has an extra "3" at the beginning.
