I have been doing family tree research for about 40 years. I was adopted so I am researching Moore, Smith, Gibson, Rippy, Davis, McIntyre, McVay, Donaldson & Wilkes on bio lines. I am researching Sellers, Hurst, Rivers, Lampley, Davis, Beckham, Perry & Dunlap on my "adopted" family lines. In turn, I am also researching my husbands lines of Buchanan, Scott, Paxton, Rich, Wright, Hanvey, Swearingen, Todd & Harden. I have over 72K people documented in my family tree...
RE: Confederal Physicians I forwarded that name to Bioengineer for his research. It sounds as if Dr Todd served in the line as a combatant, not in a medical capacity. You'd be surprised how many physicians did. But if there's any evidence that Dr Todd did any medical service, Bioengineer will find it. Thank you, and I hope you will alert me to any more doctors of an age to have been a doctor serving the CSA-Bioengineer established a DOB of no later than 1840 as a guideline.
Sophie Swindell I looked up her obit. She is listed as Mrs J W Swindell, so per your edit, I am unlinking her from Walter Branch Swindell. Her very long obit conspicuously omits any mention of parents, husband, or children, no survivors' names at all.
Nathan Edmund Monteith, fag #113870330 My Find A Grave #47182967. Theresa, Thank you for creating the find a grave memorial for Nathan Edmund Monteith. Edmund is the name listed in his father Hiram Monteith's Bible and on the 1870 census. "Ed" is listed in the Jackson County Cemetery Book. I left an edit to change name and list birthdate from Bible. His parents are listed on his brother James Walter Monteith's death certificate.
Garden of Memories Cemetery Do you ever go to the Anderson County, SC, Garden of Memories Cemetery in Belton, SC? I would love two pictures made of my family's markers. I noticed that you had taken some photos there in the past. They are Earl Bond (Bonnie) Tomlin and his wife Ada Mae Blocker Tomlin. He died in 1993, and she died in 1976. If you can help, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks!
Charles Frank Hanvey Please go on and ask findagrave to combine these two memorials. Mine was put on by the marker name as that is all we had to go by. He is no kin to me and you are welcome to maintain his page. Bud, who took the marker pictures died last week - such a great guy. When findagrave combines them, everything will be together - all the marker pictures and all your links. Also the flowers left will still be there. Please tell them to let you have the page to maintain since he is kin to you. Thanks.
