If you'll send me your email, I'll send you what I have; although, from the below messages you have more than I. I haven't gotten to this part of the family yet.

Great, cause this is all a mystery to me. Like I said my father told me without hesitation that Denzle Messer were the twins father, otherwise I wouldn't have known.

My great aunt told me Marvis father was A C Cromer. He dropped them off at her parents William Tony & Odessa Sanford. Marvis was born 1938 so when her mom passed in 1940 she would have been two years old. So they raised her as their own.

On her memorial it is listed as Mavis Cromer Elders, if she was still alive maybe we could get some answers.

RE: Eunice Sanford
That's what my great aunt told me, they raised her as their daughter (Mavis) but she belong to Eunice. Her mother Eunice Sanford died Feb 1940 giving births to the twins.

That would be great, cause I thought Marvis had passed, but when I went and look at her memorial, there's no death date. My great aunt Mrytle Sanford Lee told me this morning on the phone that her parents (my great grandparents) raised her. This is very interesting!

Yea that was another question I had for my father who told me that denzle Messer was the twins father, but my aunt just told me that A C cromer was Mavis father, she didn't know who the twins father was, that she was a young girl when it happed. That is still an open question, I went ahead and added that so I wouldn't forget. I really have to dig some more for that answer. That may be why my great grand parents left the twins name Sanford.....I just don't know at this point. I will take it off till I'm sure if you want me too.

Yesh both babies died at birth, with her.....whats odd is theres another set of twins right beside them, their names were Hoyt & Joyce Sanford, and that was another question I had. Turns out those were my Great grand parents babies, they only lived a few days.

RE: Eunice Sanford
Mavis Cromer Elders her mother was Eunice Sanford, so my great aunt said she was married to A C Cromer, he dropped her at her parents (my grand parents) with Mavis and I take it she was pregnant with the twins. So when she died giving birth, I suppose my grandparents were mad at him and left her name and the twins names Sanford. That's what I gather from talking to my Great Aunt, sister of Eunice Sanford.

Yes the stone is wrong, she died have the twins bury next to her, Viola & Rosedale (same death dates) I talked to her sister (my great aunt) earlier, and she said she was 17. I thought the same thing, so I set out for answers.
