Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Mobile, AL, graduated from Theodore High School, earned a BSME from Auburn University, moved to Choctaw Co, AL in 1981, married a local gal and am still here. Growing up in Mobile with it's coastal forts and Spanish Fort & Blakeley battlefields, it was understandable that I developed an interest in the Civil War. After the death of my father-in-law in 1997 we were going through some family papers and found that his grandfather was in the 40th Alabama Infantry Regiment. I started looking in the local cemeteries for him and really had a blast; so here I am 14 years later, a confirmed genealogy-aholic.

Feel free to use any pics I post for the use of you, family & friends. If you have updates, corrections or transfer requests, I'll try to honor them within FaG guidelines regarding family connections.

Young Edits
I submitted a numbers of edits on Young family in Mt. Pisgah, Clarke County, MS. Nothing has happened in a several weeks. Others edits I have submitted where completed in a couple of days. Do you know what I can do? It looked like the person may have canceled their contact number. I couldn't find any "complaint" number for findagrave. You were one of the creators of one of my ancestors so I'm reaching out to see what I can do. Thank you!

Siloam Cem., Sumter Co., AL
Hi. You added a photo (in 2013) to the Siloam Cemetery page (Sumter Co., AL) that is labeled as the "black section" of the cemetery. Your photo is correct in that it is of a black cemetery that is located behind the Siloam Cemetery. However this little cemetery has no name that we know of. It is not part of the Siloam Cemetery and really should have its own page, as burials are being posted to the Siloam Cemetery page, when they are in fact in this other cemetery. We have not been able to figure out who is in charge of that little cemetery. It remains very unkept for most of the year. Anyway, I just thought you should know that the picture you posted is not of the Siloam Cemetery, but a separate cemetery that perhaps, once upon a time, was begun with slaves(?) who lived in the Siloam community.

George Washington Bonner Jr. #77040413
You added a picture of a headstone for G.W.Bonner, 40th Alabama Inf. to this memorial, but I think it belongs to George Washington Bonner Sr. (18 Feb 1825-1886). There is a U.S.Headstone Application for Military Veterans on ancestry.com for it that lists date of death as 1886 and cemetery as Brightwater.

re: Phillips Cemetery, Philadelphia, Mississippi
Good afternoon Mr. Snow:
I'm hoping you can clear up a discrepancy about a couple of burials in Phillips Cemetery, Philadelphia, Mississippi. Please look at 29184347 and 29181061 in Phillips. I find Matthew Mills Partridge's spouse buried (memorialized in Ocobla.
Looks like you took the photos for Phillips. Can you confirm if Matthew Mills Partridge and his spouse Rhonda Narcissa Wray Partridge are buried in Phillips or Ocobla?
I need your help.

I don't know who repaired his fallen tombstone, but thank you so much! He was a Confederate Veteran, and it's nice to know his stone has been repaired.
