Hello! I am currently working with my mom to search out our family's history, preserve where they are buried, and link how they are connected on Find A Grave for all relatives, near or distant, to learn from and add to as well. My mom's family from Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia includes the names Allen, Bryant, Johnson, Jordan, Ridgeway, Seigler, Smith, and Stacks, while my dad's family from New York, Connecticut and Canada includes Adams, Fancher, Harvey, Lockwood, Porter, Scofield, and Wright.|
I also look forward to contributing to the Find A Grave community by adding photos and memorials not yet represented when the opportunity presents itself. I will gladly answer questions about anything I add, as well as transfer management of memorials to others who are more closely related than me.
Thanks for contributing to this great site, and best wishes in your searches, as well.

I have a pic of a grave that says Agnes Allen 1910-1984, could this be the same person as Annie Allen?

I took a photo of her headstone so now you can add the birth and death dates.

Hiya. Hope all's well with you. I just found this on ebay. Don't know if you've ever seen a good picture of the Adams store or not, so thought I'd pass on the link. The store is long gone, and is now a parking lot

Kami: I appreciate your transferring this memorial to me for maintenance. Am still trying to learn more about her from cemetery personnel and perhaps from relatives. All I'm sure of is that this burial was probably before 1934 when Hale book was published. Thanks, again. Alta

Thank you so very much for this transfer of maintenance of the memorial for James Thomas Mitchum, Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Despite the fact that I have made long distance telephone calls to Park Cemetery personnel, I have been unable to learn anything about burial of Dorothy Mitchum in this same cemetery. Do you have any information about her, such as birth and death dates, kinsmen?
Thanks, again. Alta Mitchem Durden

You are welcome, it was a nice adventure.
I'm happy to help.
I already flipped the picture, if it is not corrected let me know, and I will be happy to fix it. I'm doing all this from my phone so I might but see what you are seeing.
