Please do not post Death Certificates on my memorials.|
Please use the edit tab on the memorial to send a correction or suggestion so that I know what memorial you are referring to. When it is on my Bio page it is much harder to find.
When requesting a transfer use the edit tab on the memorial
"Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests should not be made."

Oh My... so sorry, I guess I wasn't paying attention. Thank You so very much for this additional information that LTC Francis White Chewning was his wife!!!
I hadn't realized that he had married again, so LTC Francis White Chewning was his 3rd wife. His 1st wife, Margaret/Margo Couzens, they divorced in 1938. They had one son, Wm Jeffries Chewning III. The 2nd wife, as you can see, was Vivian Schlemmer.
Thanks again for setting me right. Much appreciated. Especially since you have such a huge amount memorials to manage.
Thanks for all that you do for Find A Grave!!
Sincerely & Happy Holidays

Thank you for finding the cemetery. It must be either an old one not found, Home meant buried at home or the name was changed.

I found Alexander's mother.

John: I have entered him into the system but cannot find his parents. I know when and where they died. Would you mind seeing if you can find their burial data? http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=173546315
He is in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbus, NC. If you do find them please add them into the system and submit an edit for Alexander.

Memorial # 148641133 is my father. Thank you for creating the memorial. I would like to add a more recent photo of his grave site, one with the grass now added. Is there anyway to have the old photo deleted before I add the new photo?
Thank you so very much for your great work.
Michael J. Brooks
