There are over 400 "unknown" in the Hilview East/Annex Cemetery in LaGrange, in the Pauper Section.. If you know who any of them are, please contact me. Of the 19 that have been identified by family and now have a marker with name and dates, the death year ranges between 1900 and 1949.
If you have a loved one that died in LaGrange and you have not found their grave, consider that they may be here.
I would appreciate it if you could leave a few flowers on their memorials. They are listed as Pauper Unknown and have the number that is on their marker.
The Clock of Life -
The clock of life is wound but once.
And no man has the power, to tell just when the hands will stop. At late or early hour.
To lose one's wealth is sad, indeed.
To lose one's health is more.
To lose one's soul is such a loss.
That no man can restore.
The present only is our own.
So live, love, toil with a will.
Place no faith in tomorrow.
For the clock may then be still.

Thank you for this page in honor of my grandfather. His ashes and my grandmother's ashes (#50447415) are side by side. It is such a blessing to have you dedicating your time in order to give others peace and comfort. My love to you...

In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.
My retirement from all my social and family duties have dwindled down since my health has had the opportunity to allow me to beat my God given expiration date, with the help of family, fantastic physicians and hospital, and the implantation of a pacemaker. Rest is my priority when not doing some physical duties, yet Find A Grave and family ancestry tracing is still fun.
To all my Find a Grave friends, you have all been a tremendous help with your contributions to me and especially to this site.
Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

Thanks, Sharon. I am not related. A friend copied every person in the Georgia Memorial Book for WWI and put them on a disk for me. I decided instead of leaving the disk in a drawer I would share them.
