|Sharon Stanfield||RE: Elias Sharp119470128 and Sallie Sharp 130459244|
My grandfather was Joe Walter Sharp Jr. My mother is Joanna Sharp Layton. My married name is Stanfield. My grandfather's dad was Joe Walter Sharp Sr. Joe Walter Sharp Sr. married Sarah (Sally) Florence Blackburn who had my grandfather. Joe Walter Sharp Sr.'s dad was John Riley Sharp and his mother was Mary E. Barry before she married John Riley Sharp. John Riley Sharp was the son of John Sharp. John Sharp was the son of Elias Sharp and Sallie Sharp. So Elias Sharp is my 4th great grandfather.

Hi Kenny, How are you related to them if I may ask this question? I am the granddaughter of Joe W.Sharp Jr. I am researching my genealogy through the Sharp's lineage. His grandmother was Mary E.(Barry) Sharp and she was married to John Riley Sharp. His second marriage and her first marriage. She gave birth to my great grandfather Joe Sharp Sr. Joe Sharp Sr. married Sarah Florence Blackburn but they called her Sally. They had my grandfather Sharp Joe Walter Sharp Jr. My grandfather married Addie Katherin Sharp. They had three kids. My mom is Joanna (Sharp) Layton. I am her youngest child and the only daughter -Sharon(Layton)Stanfield. She had my two oldest brothers.

Thank you for letting me know, I have deleted it.
Have a good day!
|Librarian51||RE: Alice Jane Lindsey (relative)|
I have finally located the child since I e-mailed you. He had not been added to the cemetery yet. So, I added him -- Find A Grave Memorial# 169685818.
The story of the fire at Peter L. Stamm's home can be found in THE PUBLIC LEDGER (Maysville, Mason, Kentucky, USA) on July 5, 1919, page 1. There was a follow-up story in THE PUBLIC LEDGER (Maysville, Mason, Kentucky, USA) on July 7, 1919, page 1.
Thank-you for answering me. And thanks for your entries in Findagrave.com

Under son Joseph Mann:
His "highlighted" wife Dora should be connected to Find A Grave #98967550.
The Dora that you used is a newer memorial (duplicate) and will be removed by Findagrave.
I had already caught and changed it, everyplace except on Roberts page. It is correct now. Also reported the other one as duplicate, you may have also.

The fire killed the children of Peter Louis and Laura Belle Crawford Stamm's children. I typed the names wrong. However, the child Alice was raising seems to be the one that might have died in the fire because his name and circumstances are very similar.
|Librarian51||Lindsey relative of Alice Jane Lindsey Stamm|
The newspaper account I have of the July 4, 1919 fire that killed four of Peter & Alice Stamm's children also mentioned the death of a relative named Thompson that Alice was raising for a relative. I see where the Stamm children are buried, but I haven't located this male relative that died in the fire. Do you have any further information on him?

I had wondered about the Rohman marriage. Thanks.

|Carol S||RE: Catherine Marxmiller or Miller Huber|
Just catching up on edits from when I was gone for three weeks. I will have to keep digging to figure out who the one listed as buried at St Stephens is. I don't see any notation about being a reburial. Dates don't quite match.
I did find a marriage record for a Katherine Hubert married to a John Marxmiller. I wonder it this might be hers.
