I would very much like to thank you for creating the memorial for my son, James Curtis Mauck, #111410797. I was shocked and honored when I first saw it.
All Saints was our family church for three generations. My parents were married there. The altar in the Lady Chapel was dedicated to my Great Grandmother and the Winderweedle Center named for my Grandfather. We have three more family members who's ashes reside in the memorial garden. I would like to maintain their memorials too if you don't mind. They are my Great Aunt, Jackie Morris #111201589 and her children, Pamela Flagg Epting #111411063 and David Nolde Flagg #111287407.
Thanks again for all you've done.

Thank you, thank you for taking the time to explain ! The inner workings of this sit. They are not apparent to a newcomer. FAQ does not cover all the bases; I have tried often. So, now I have a much better idea. My basic error was first seeing Find A Grave as a research tool alone and not the tribute it is to lost loved ones.
I will.keep up the ones I manage and created. Over time, I hope to expand much further, staying within my extended family and friends. I so admire the vast area you and the others extend to. NOLAgirl and I keep running into each other ;). I am a research librarian who has taken genealogy as a fascinating endeavor for the last few years.
Thank you , again, for your generous effort to be of help to me. You certainly have been! Vicki

Thank you for the speedy reply . I will certainly respect your decision. Frankly, I was hoping to end up with only one memorial for Leslie . Now there are three with varying degrees of accuracy. It seems counter-productive and unnecessary. Also, I have inquired and been told that immediate family will appear as Calculated and Half-siblings when duplicate memorials exist. ( I've seen this occur with several of my family.)
Please, explain to me, a new contributor, why or how this situation exists. Thanks, really. Vicki

Hello, Again I thank you for youe investigation of this. The good news is I have ascertained the final answer from her son. Leslie Brennan did die in Ft.Worth,TEXAS (22 Nov 01). I was there. As I thought, we went home with the ashes. Later a few were spread with parents , but that was quietly in FLORIDA. When her husband (28472737) died in 2008, their ashes were buried together in Green River Cemetery,Greenfield, Franklin County,MASSACHUSETTS. This final interment is the only one we wish to acknowledge.
The bad news is I've found a third memorial to Leslie: 7120134 by DonZas. With Grave's 131530193 , where I did all my work, that makes 3. I am hoping Find A Grave has a remediation for duplicate and triplicate memorials. You have certainly done your part. Vicki46

Hi, Thanks for all your trouble. Now I am confused as well and I was there at interment!
My son-in-law is checking with the church. We live in New Orleans, so we can't walk on over:)

Hi! This memorial is a duplicate to 131530193 created by Graves. I have done a lot of editing as she was my son-in-law's mother. The burial info on her on your memorial is incorrect. Her parents are buried in FL. She is buried in MA. Is it possible to delete yours? It seems the simplist resolution. Thanks Vicki46 (#48595267)
