Bio and Links
Born in Chicago, Illinois. I like to keep learning more about some of the people who formed my past. I enjoy trying to understand something of their histories. Although I enjoy doing this for fun. It is very similar to solving puzzles and reading murder mysteries. My professional training is in Anthropology (kinship, household and family organization) and History & Computing.

This hobby is fulfilling my particular interests of learning more about the migration of my own family across the Atlantic and the North American Continent.

I keep finding cousins that I'd never known much about before and in the process I've learned a great deal of history of families that moved across the continent and of the continent as well. WOW! I've met some very nice people as well.

RE: Nelsons in PRC
I go to PRC often so if you figure out where they are, or if I find them on my journeys I will let you know. I will transfer Elizabeth Parker Nelson to you.

RE: Nelsons.....
Okay - I walked all through Section 13 today and I found the Nelson burial plot and there are exactly six stones there including the Nelson headstone marking the spot. I took a pic of the whole area and it looks like there is a large empty area and the 5 named stones are along the edges. I can post a pic of the plot if you like. The only name you did not have listed is Elizabeth Parker Nelson who died in September 16, 1936. I added a memorial for her if you want me to transfer to you. There may be more Nelsons in PRC, but as far as I can tell they are not in Section 13.

Excellent - next time I go down I will wander through Section 13 and take pics for you. I usually try to do a whole section at a clip so that will work well. Have to wait for a nice day as it is raining here.

Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery requests
Hello, I am going down to the cemetery today, however it has over 80,000 people in it and unless you can at least give a section the requests you made may be difficult. I would suggest calling the office, but they are not to friendly about assisting people in finding relatives. I have the names you asked for and if I trip over them I will take pics, but you may want to give them a call and find a location for future reference.
