|Mary Hetherington Hosna||Ledfords|
I am the great great granddaughter of Louisiana Pearson Ledford Williford through her son, Harrison Williford. She is a brick wall of sorts for me, as I don't know who her parents were. Her marriage rec to Timothy Ledford has been lost (I've been to both the Gallatin Co. courthouse and the archives at IRAD in Carbondale). Do you know any more info about her? Thanks in advance,
Mary Hetherington Hosna

|Anna & Bill Carmean||Edwin Ernest Miller|
You and I each have a memorial for E.E.M.
mine Memorial# 68765264
yours Memorial# 79838212
I know Edwin Miller's death certificate indicates burial in the Seaside memorial Park but I had heard that he was buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville, TX with his family. There is a stone with his name and birth - death dates on it there.
Do you have any further information on his actual burial?
Thanks for any help, Anna Carmean (great-niece of E.E.M.)

|Jeff Lovelace||RE: Mamie Hyder|
Please accept my apology for being so abrasive about Mamie Hyder. I've taken on the entire town of Barnardsville this year and the cemeteries were in almost as bad a condition in person as they were on Find A Grave. Most folks hate me for combing through every one of these cemeteries with my camera and my survey from 1985, but in order to have these graveyards straight, it must be done. I've been cursed by so many people this year, and it's all because of my research. I've been searching the woods for abandoned cemeteries, tracking down leads on unmarked graves and visiting each and every one of the small private graveyards personally. It has stirred up a firestorm of anger by many of the contributors that don't care what cemetery they put someone in, as long as they get a new memorial out of it. I am not in accordance with that kind of behavior. I have found cemeteries with identical names that had the interments totally mixed up. Sometimes, it's the fault of the funeral homes, while other times it's the newspaper obits that cause the confusion. I've been contacting the biggest offenders in the hopes of making it better going forward. I wish you well and hope you have a wonderful Christmas season.

I have pictures of Jessie Anderson Ledford's funeral taken by Life Magazine. Does anyone know why? I have researched their archives and have found nothing. Any help would be appreciated. email@example.com
