Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Concord, NC and I very much enjoy doing genealogy research with over 6,300 family names in my data base.

I am very interested in ancestors who were in the military and especially the ones who fought in the Revolutionary War. I have identified 67 ancestors and close relatives who fought for independence in the War Between the States. I am a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Capt. Jonas Cook SCV Camp #888.

Some of my ancestor names are Allen, Carpenter, Cauble, Caudle, Hildreth, McKay, Morrison, Motley, Faggart (Fegert), Bost, Corzine, Armstrong, Smith, Reed.

Hi and thanks for the notification. I have updated his memorial with what you sent and added some additional information that I was able to find. There is a stone also in Oakwood for him next to his parents, even though he was not recovered.

RE: Horns and Sowers
Hi Tom, I'm afraid I will not be much help at this point. The only John Horn I have is 1810 and this very questionable because I cannot confirm it. And for the Sowers, I do not have a George. I am stuck on this part of my tree. It is like these fell off the face of the earth when I added my 2nd great grandfather Jeremiah 1842 and his wife Christina. I was at the york county archives with no results. When I go to the historical society, I will look for your names along with Jeremiah. Will let you know if I find anything. Sheila

Samuel Horn
Hi Tom,

I came across the memorial you posted for Samuel Horn. We've been trying to figure out if he's related to our line of Horn's. Would you happen to have any further info on him, such as wife and kids?

Thank you!

~ Chrissy

John B. Cotton
I saw the note you left on his memorial, and I added it to his bio. Would you like to manage the memorials for John B. Cotton and the others in his family tomb?
