I came across the findagrave website by accident one day while looking up my wife's obituary. I didn't know that it existed and was touched how someone had put in her obituary on the site. So I felt the need to help out other's as I can. |
My wife Tammy Vance Alberthal is buried in the Boerne City Cemetery along with our first dog Oscar.
I retired from working in June 2012. Now I spend my time volunteering at several organizations and going to cemeteries to take pictures then update them on Find a Grave. I have completed the entire Boerne City Cemetery and now working on Mission Park North Cemetery in San Antonio and Der Stadt Friedhof (City Cemetery) in Fredericksburg
I'm not a numbers person -- for memorials that I add, I try to find the obituary for the individual and add it to the memorial as well as a picture of the person (and give credit where I found it). I believe everyone has a story and needs to be told to keep their memory alive and for future generations to see.
Don't be afraid to ask for transfers for anybody. I am totally for it and hope others would do the same for me.

Would you be able to place a copy of the photos from Lezette #112604073 on her husband Bill #140191807? Thank you.

Thank you for the transfer. I will add what information I have and keep it going until a closer relative finds it and requests a transfer. Your work helps those of us who are living too far from cemeteries to locate and find information for relatives we would not otherwise be able to find. Thank you!
Thanks for fulfilling my photo request. I know it's not that easy. So thanks for taking the time.

|Nancy Bull Waller||Thanks|
Just want to thank you to. I was injured and have had many surgeries in the last couple of years. All tho I am unable to make it to the cemeteries I use ancestry.com, obituaries and even facebook at times. If there is ever anything you need from up this way just send me a message. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Noticed an error for Arthur Vileman #137715962.
St. Joseph Honey Creek Cemetery #1 also known as Honey Creek Cemetery is not an active cemetery. It is located in a pasture. The burial would be in St.Joseph Honey Creek Cemetery #2 or #3 which are located adjacent to the St. Joseph Church on Hwy. 46. This is a confusing listing of cemeteries.

Some time ago, you requested a photo of the stone for Capt Mark Voss at Arlington National. The group stone was just put in place, and I've posted photos of the stone on his memorial.
Thank you for your patience!

You posted a grave photo to this memorial, but the name does not match.
Just a heads up!
