Would you have any idea where Nancy Mallett Burton and Francis M Burton are buried in Tennessee? Nancy & Francis are my 3rd great granparents. Their daughter Lucy 'lucinda' who married Duff Lawson is buried in Greenville SC and Duff Lawson moved the kids to Greensboro NC and remarried after Lucy died. He is buried in Greensboro with a few other Lawsons.

Hello Mr. Porter, I was very curious when I saw your post for Luke Hamm Greer.
I don't recall ever seeing Larkin in his name but I guess stranger things have happened. Luke Hamm Greer, son of John & Oma greer was my Grandfather. Besides their daughter Nola, they also had a son, Ivan Otto Walker Greer, my Father. Luke had Five brothers, Art, Tom, Ben, Glenn(Big Babe), Lester and two sisters, Lil, Vannie. I can remember Loretta, my Grandmother, having a brother, Claude Roark and a sister Rosa Roark. She also had a very close relative that she loving called her sister, Vesta Mahala.
I spent all my summers on Greer mountian with my Grandparents as they were taking care of John & Oma, my Great Grandparents. If I am not careful, I will tell my age but I can remember John & Oma as I sat and played cards with them in the evenings.
Just wanted to give you a little info.
Thank you that Was a lot of info
Thanks for the heads up. The Bondurant's were my wife's great grandfather's first cousins and we have family living in the area today. Thanks again.

Good Afternoon, thank you for your kind note. A photo of Edna's marker has been uploaded. It is James that I could not locate a marker for. In that cemetery, there are many unmarked, or fieldstone marked graves. Regrettably, I do not recall whether there was an unmarked grave next to Edna. However, there were no fieldstone markers next to Edna, as the photograph sequence did not have one. -- Ken
