I am active on FindAGrave and Ancestry and am trying to collaborate information between the two as it becomes available for the purposes of education and geneology. If you notice an incorrect entry or wish to assume management of an entry I have posted please let me know (the entry you want to request must be a close relative, no more than one generation away from you). I reserve the right to maintain management of any entry for direct family. |
Because this seems to have become a problem as of late I need to note that I WILL NOT under any circumstances (barring a request from an Administrator) remove an entry because you created a duplicate made after mine or because you assumed ownership of a duplicate made after my entry. You may suggest corrections or additions if you have information I have not included but please do not ask me to delete my original for your convenience. FindAGrave rules clearly state that before creating an entry you should first search for the individual to avoid duplicates.

Hello; you are SO very welcome, and thank you SO much for taking the time to leave me both of those kind notes.
That is really the reason I do this - to try to help others if possible. Those notes and your kind words just made my day.
I am so glad it was helpful!
|Tree Leaf||Clara Zimmerman|
Sent you the transcribed obituary and funeral notice for Clara Zimmerman. (Cause of death contained therein.)
Hope it is helpful to you.

My cousin told me that there was a family member that died a while back ago. That knew where Catharine Latta Shakespeare Rockenfield grave was. All that I remember is that is was an unmarked grave. And that there are no records that have been found. Jerry R. Smith email@example.com
Hello! My great uncle played for the Gems just after WWII, during the time before or during Red Crowder. I'll have to confirm that some more with his son who is still alive.
Anyway, I thought I'd respond since I saw the flower note you left about the team.
Anything else you know about the team would be very interesting.

yea i know about the first cemetery and that not all were removed . At Madison there is a sign stating it was the Old Cemetery but I believe that is pretty much it. It is so sad that those left are not being respected. It doesnt seem that there are too many people now a days do not care enough about the past.
|Debbie Gibson||RE: Hi!|
I have often had those same thoughts about Madison Park. Why is not more being done to remember the people that are there. I do have a book from the genealogical society that has an index of names of people that were buried there and about where the cemetery was right on the corner of 24th and maine to the best of my knowledge. I have went thru all the old newspaper articles and have put them up on the site that I host for Adams County as my way of remembering those lost. I have had people requesting photos of someone there and I have to tell them the story. It is sad most people now don't even know that was a cemetery until I tell them. I am glad to see someone else holds my interests.

great where are you at now. I am actually from Winfield, mo and moved to Payson when I was 15 and have been here ever since. Moved to Quincy when I was 18. So glad to find more like minds like me. If you ever need anything from the cemeteries here give me a shout.
