Good morning Patricia,
I also went to Arlington and Terry Parker. Morgan was easy to be friends with. If you showed the slightest kindness he was your friend. In high school I was in the CBE program where I went to school earlier and got out at 11:00 and went to a job. One year the CBE class had a Christmas party for some children from I believe the Baptist Children's Home. I maybe wrong on which children's home but the story is the same. Well, since I was a little larger than my classmates, I got chosen to be Santa Claus. I still remember all the Ho, Ho, Ho's and the little child that was sitting in my lap and I asked what would you like for Santa to bring you for Christmas little girl? She looked in my eyes and said " All I want Santa is a Mama and a Daddy". It brought me to tears and I counted my blessings of having a wonderful Mother and Father. When I think about Morgan I think about that event. Maybe he was forgotten in life but with Find a Grave I can help make sure he is remembered for the ultimate sacrifice he made. Thank you again for visiting his memorial and for all you do within the Find a Grave community. I certainly appreciate it. God bless and keep up the good work.

Good question - the record book says Mamie - but you're right - the marker says "son" - I have no idea......

Pat, I just posted a picture of Jessie's grave marker. Thought you might be interested in it.
I think we may be related. One of My 4x grand father was David Hickox. I found you are descended from John Warren who married Druclla Hickox as his second wife. Are you descended from his first or second wife?

Hi, Thanks for the date correction.
|Stephen Payne||F D Pratt|
The information for this FD Pratt was found at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~frgen/essex/willsboro/gilliland.htm
However, this is not the Frederick D Pratt you (and I!) are looking for. Josephine Weston was my 2nd great aunt, sister of my 2nd great-grandfather, James Edwin Weston. I am also related to these Pratts by marriage from a couple of different directions.
I've had the same difficulty in finding information for both Frederick and Josephine. I've followed Josephine to Utica, Oneida, NY in 1920 at age 78...but haven't found a death date or burial site. Frederick I've only followed through the 1900 census in Chesterfield, Essex, NY.
The FD Pratt buried in the Gilliland Cemetery is a bit of a mystery, though. I photographed that whole cemetery last fall, but did not find a gravestone to match the record in the listing above.
