Love for family brought me to "serious" genealogy research twenty years ago. The part of family research that interests me most are the family stories and photos. It is exciting to find these stories verified in cemeteries and old publications. |
Jarratt, Pruett, Martin, DeLoach, Corbett, Webb, Scott, and Powell are the family names I follow closely. This same group of people gave most unselfishly of their time, photos, letters, historical data, and LOVE to the researcher and research. It is now in their memory that I try to share their gifts to family. I thank God for family.

Hi. It's Chuck. Could you please link Thomas Rooke to his parents: Capt. Thomas Rooke 137924224 & Martha Beard Rooke 62046428 ? I added their memorial numbers for you to make it easier. Thank you.

Nan, You are welcome. I am still working out how to distinguish the difference in the graves of William C. Hammond b.1777 (my GG Grandfather) and Wlliam C. "Buck" Hammond b. 1807 both are buried in Gwinnett Co.,Ga. The confusion between these two has been most difficult... We've got our 5 year old Gr. Granddaughter for the evening so I will get back with you really soon. Hope all is well with you and yours. Valerie

I did not post a photo for Varana as the tombstone did not have a date of death. Kinsey Cemetery is a small cemetery. I have no idea who to contact.
If you have an obit with date of death info, I will go ahead and post photo.

Nan, you are so welcome. Eventually I will find the info that will explain to Betty that her John Pruett SC 1806 is at best his nephew (from deceased bro John)and not his son but again, anything is possible. It is true that I have not found William and James Marshall's brothers David Goodman and Elisha so he could be one of them but neither was born in 1806. Enjoy your Grandfather's memorial and if at any time you need some help I'll be here for you. Valerie

|Missy Ivey||RE: Infant for Bennie & Mary Jarratt|
I've been working on the babies at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves and found an infant of Bennie & Mary Jarratt. I have attached her already. The headstone photo didn't turn out so great, so I do have it on my list of "retakes".
I just wanted you to know about this since it appears you are researching this family.

|htowngenie||Another Royall at Forest Park|
I came across another Royall at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston. Margaret E Royall 27 Jul 1919 - Nov 23 2000. The headstone is in Restland 20. I just put in on findagrave so you may have to wait 24 hrs before viewing it. Not sure if she is one of "your" Royalls or not.
Regards, Nancy Jordan
Hi Nan, The Martin family are cousins to the Warner family through Lois Annie Warner Martin. Do you have a tree on ancestry.com? If so, I would love an invitation. Also, do you happen to have any information on Cleo Magee James' husband? Daddy and I can't remember his first name. I would love to add a memorial on Find A Grave for him and link to Cleo. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks, Betty Warner (#47466235)
