Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love cemeteries! I walk my area cemeteries frequently.

Let me make this clear,
to Karen H.....
ALL of my memorials are from my own family research, death certificates (vital records) or obituaries, but most are from actually WALKING & PHOTOGRAPHING many cemeteries.
Yes, I have WALKED & PHOTOGRAPHED nearly every cemetery in several counties. I have over 400,000 photos of tombstones! If my memorial is created at the same time you also obtained cemetery records, rest assured ... it was NOT from your research! Repeat... was NOT, is NOT, and NEVER WAS from your research!
Stop with the false accusations & assumptions.
Your work is not highly sought after, and it's definately something I could go get myself if I really wanted to. I can (and do!) my own research, I don't need to use or copy yours!
I have NEVER used your personal website or transcriptions for any of my memorials. You say you find it unethical for others to steal your work ... well, I find you unethical for falsely accusing others of stealing! I don't appreciate the things you have written about several of us contributors in this area and all the FALSE assumptions!!
Also, REMEMBER other contributors send me edits DAILY to update memorials with correct names/dates, so some information is from them!
If you are so upset about others "taking" your work, then I highly suggest you take "your work" off the internet. Your problems will then be solved. And while you are at it, take your photos off Find A Grave also... since you obviously don't want to share without having your name plastered everywhere on the photo!
And chalk?? Seriously, you chalk tombstones? For someone who says they "preserve cemeteries", you certainly are doing your part in destroying them by using colored chalk!
Just because my information matches what you have, does NOT mean it came from your useless UStombstone Archives site, a site that I have never been to!
Get over yourself.
.... Candy

Please don't add "unknown burials" unless you are going to update the memorial to a proper cemetery within 30 days. I won't add parental or spousal links to "unknown burials".

If you see a name I have added, chances are I have a photo to go with the name. Use the "Request A Photo" link.

If you have corrections and/or additions, please let me know. I work very hard to make these Champaign County, OH memorials accurate.
However, please be SIGNED IN when you request a correction or have additions and LIST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!
If I have questions, I need to contact you....

If you are requesting a transfer of one of your direct grandparents, please be sure to include your ID# in your request!
If not your direct grandparent, I will gladly make your additions. Please try to follow the guidelines for requesting transfers, but other family will definitely be considered.

✔ PLEASE NOTE
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to.

Please don't purposely duplicate a memorial when you KNOW one exists but is listed as Unknown or in another cemetery. BE COURTEOUS and suggest to the contributor to edit their memorial to the correct cemetery.

Also, no need to send me info such as
"Mr & Mrs John Doe have another child, Jane Doe"
Or... "Mr Doe has a wife Jane who died XXX"
That's fine, but unless they have a memorial page, I cannot link them. Please create a page for additional spouses or children & link them, or send the contributor the link numbers. I can't link children unless I am their memorial creator.

These are the names I am currently searching. I won't transfer memorials related to anyone with the following surnames:
ALEXANDER
BAILEY
BOOLMAN
BOWERS
BURROUGHS
CADWELL
CHUBB
CORK
FRESHOUR
GILLIAM
HAWES
ILIFF
JORDAN

Asbury Cemetery
Hi Candy, I notice that you have several memorials in the Asbury Cemetery in Clark Co., OH and I am wondering how far you may be from there. The following is why I am asking.

My 5th great grandfather Jacob Ellsworth and his wife are buried there just west of a big Runyan monument and just east of his son Jacob and his wife Rachael whose stones are down now and set in cement since they have been broken. The son's stone has Sr. on it since he had a Junior. Some think his stone to be that of my 5th great, but the year of birth must be overlooked by them. These graves are located to the right just inside the cemetery entrance on the south side near where the old church once stood. The only marker on my 5th great's grave is a large native rock which until 1978 also had an SAR bronze marker stuck in the ground by it. The bronze marker had gotten badly broken and my SAR cousin had me to get the pieces on one of my trips to D.C. He was going to contact his chapter in Springfield and ask that they replace it. If he got this done before his passing, I have been unable to find out. Since I live in Missouri doubt that I will ever be able to visit there again. Also, I had photoed his plot with the rock facing the big Runyan stone as well as facing the the stones of his son Jacob and wife to the west, but lost them in a house fire. Sure would like to find someone to photo the plot and provide me with copies and also post copies on the memorials of my 5th and his wife. Be more than willing to pay for this.

I notice on Jacob's memorial #46215880 they have now added a plot number of Sec 1, Lot 12, Grave 3, but do not know if correct. If correct I imagine the son and wife are grave 1 & 2 and my 5th great grandfather in 3 and his wife in 4. I do not believe a native rock marked her grave, but not sure I even checked.

Candy, if you ever have a chance to visit Asbury would you mind photoing the plot and add to the memorials of Jacob Ellsworth, Sr. #46215880 my 5th great and wife my 5th great grandmother, Hannah Ellsworth #107542379?

I do realize this is a lot to ask of you and if you are unable to assist me with this that will be okay. Please let me know and if not perhaps you can recommend someone that I might contact.

Thank you kindly. Louise
