Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Sharol (Heintzelman) Molland and I was born in Coquille, Oregon the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. My father and stepfather were both in the Army during WWII. I would like to find out if there is a possible genealogy link to General Samuel Peter Heintzelman, who fought in the Civil War.

My interest in genealogy began about three years ago and somehow I ended up doing "Find a Grave" about a year or so ago. I am happy to help find relatives, if they are buried near to me. My husband has been ill so I don't travel too far away.

My brother and I would like to locate relatives buried in the midwest. We have discovered that we have our roots for the Heintzelman and Shere families in northern Illinois (Tampico and Joliet), and the Monica family in Michigan (Newberry area) and Wisconsin (Egg Harbor). We have found some information about the Page family in the Nebraska and Oklahoma area, however, we are unsure of where they originated from. Some of our family members ended up in Oregon, where we were born.

Since I've gotten older, I have found a walk in a cemetery to be rather comforting and peaceful. For every stone you see, there is a story of a life and experiences. I find a special empathy and interest in those that fought in wars and children lost too soon.

Hi Sharol - thanks so much for all your postings on Find A Grave. Submitted a correction on Barnard Brantners page, have his sister linked as his mother. Submitted on your edit page that I hope you will approve. Just would like them all linked so they are not forgotten.

Thanks again!!

RE: Memorial transfer
That would be fine if you added some pictures as I only have the one. I knew her parents as her mother and my wife's father were siblings.

Memorial transfer
Eleanor Laehn 55081152 is my wife's cousin and I was wondering if you would transfer her memorial to me as I would like to add to her bio.

Re:obituary from FAQ's
Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.

You are the manager for this gentleman's listing on find a grave. His memorial number is 89220556. From the pictures it looks like he has a wife buried with him but I can't tell who it is. Do you have any idea? I am looking for a great grandfather and the birth year matches, so I know it's a long shot but am hoping this might be him.
Thanks for your help - Mary

RE: Hoyt's Riverside Cemetery
Thank you. I would enjoy managing them if you don't mind. My findagrave # is 46920483. I sometimes do the same thing. I go looking for someone for my own research and bring home many more that upload, especially if they older and hard to read. I try to preserve those for anyone looking for them.
