louis kellerman; burial place
the correct church was the st's peter and paul catholic church . It was located on the southwest corner of 9th & McGee streets in downtown Kansas city, Jackson county, Missouri. it was torn down for other developments in 1923.
the st's peter and paul cemetery was located at 26th street & Brooklyn ave. also in downtown Kansas city, jackson co , Missouri, the last burial being in 1923. the folks that were buried there in that 14 acre, cemetery were later moved. 1500 folks to St. Mary's cemetery at 2201 Cleveland st. and the remaining 500 +/- folks to other local cemeterys. the original cemetery property is now the location of the dr. martin luther king jr. hospital which was built in 1971

all information reference the Kansas city downtown library , Michael wells researcher,

Hi just a note: Please do not post vital information in the flowers section. Just send an edit with info in it. Info posted in flowers is discouraged by Find A Grave because it is lost after more flowers are posted. Thank you so much.

William H. Bell
Hi Lettie,

Looking at the memorial you created for William H Bell (1864-1954, Kingston, IL), you have listed a Nellie N Merrifield as his wife. This is not correct. His first wife and mother of his 4 children was Nellie N Clark (1864-1901). I have a copy of both their obituaries if you'd like to see them.

RE: I. W. Peavy
Apparent that I have been looking at that same posting and not realizing they have not been proved out. Our family branch spoke of the connection with William the conqueror. It sounds as if a number of people poured resources in to research and I would have no idea as how to do. I am still working and my genealogy has been on and off over the years. I am considering doing the DNA testing which could produce answers or maybe more questions! Has anyone in your branch done the DNA study?

RE: I. W. Peavy
Hello, Lettie, Yes I descend from Ichabod of birth 1820. I used to travel for work in northern Illinois and have been to Horatio and Nehemiah grave down by Sycamore. I grew up in Vernon county Wisconsin where generations of my family are from. So we are related! Have you looked back to our Viking heritage?

I. W. Peavy
Hello, Lettie, Curious are you a descendant of I. W. Peavy? He would be my maternal GG Grandfather.

RE: Bettie Taylor
Unless Janice Mancini is over 100 years old these cannot be very close relatives. I wrote a "strongly worded" email to**just an example**
If I posted a memorial for a relative of yours and used the name on the DC, and it was incorrect. I would expect you to contact me and tell me the correct name, since you would have personal knowledge. Then I could correct the name, and make a notation on the memorial re: your input..
NOT to blatantly post a duplicate
NOT to remove my memorial, as it was posted first. I don't know what's going on, BUT... as we can see,
It's pretty easy to ruin a good thing.

RE: Bettie Taylor
It can be very frustrating! How could she have your older memorial removed?
