I am Marjorie's daughter, and am posting this on her behalf. Marjorie passed away on September 16, 2014.
Genealogy and family history was her passion. She absolutely loved being part of this website and providing information to help others. As I'm reading through the various messages on her profile page, I am so touched with your messages thanking for her contributions.
I understand there is a way for a steward to take over her work, and I am looking into that. In the meantime, I will monitor and process the edits on her profile. Also as emails hit her Inbox asking for transfers, I will do those. There are some other requests for corrections such as changing links, removing duplicates, etc. IF I CAN figure out how to do those, I will try to honor those requests. If not, it may have to wait until there is a new steward who knows more about the functions of the website.
A message from Marjorie:
Most of my information on burials in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, was collected as a project that I did for the Otter Tail County Historical Society (OTCHS). The historical Society has further information available on most of these people, which may be obtained through their web site, www.otchs.org or at their museum: 1110 West Lincoln Avenue, Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537. The Otter Tail County Historical Society continues to add burials to their database and strive to work with cemeteries to keep records up to date.

|DebraLee||RE: Requested Transfers from Dassel Cemetery|
My heart goes out to you and your family Val... I lost my mother 20 years ago in 1994 and her funeral was held on Sept 16th.
I see Marjorie sure made great accomplishments for the Find A Grave communities in Otter Tail County... I just found another family member in Oak Grove Cemetery which your mom created.
Let me know when you have learned the transfer process and this would be another cemetery I feel I'd be willing to help with.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. She was certainly successful in spreading knowledge of many peoples' ancestors, and very giving of her time to accomplish that. Quite a loss for the find a grave community.
Sincerely, Tim Phillips
So sorry to read this news, but wanted to thank you for the transfers. I appreciate it so much. I send my sympathy.

I appreciate you responding back to me with everything else you have going on. I am very sorry to hear your mom is having some problems right now.
I will respectfully offer to do what I can for you... if you'd like to work out the process with her helpers I will gladly cover all the memorials she has created at the Dassel Cemetery... and if you want to give me a few more cemeteries to work on for her also, I would gladly attend to some others who are needing to have her help right now.
I will hold you all in my prayers and my very best wishes for your mom's full and speedy recovery! With Much Love, DebraLee

|Ron Chapman||An error occurred on Helga Lee page|
Hi, there. Helga Lee was my great-grandmother and I was trying to leave virtual flowers for her but my computer had a hiccup and ended up leaving two postings, one of which I had already posted for Lars Lee, my great-grandfather. Is there any way possible for you to remove both of the flower postings from Helga Lee's page so I can then leave the proper note? I tried to do it myself, but it wouldn't let me for some reason...thanks...
|Darryl Schulz||Thank you|
I just wanted to say that you for all the contributions you have made to this website. It's quite impressive. Although I am from Washington, my father was from Otter Tail County, MN. I have at least 4 generations of relatives buried in the area.
|DebraLee||Requested Transfers from Dassel Cemetery|
I've been waiting to hear from you since mid August and I also sent an email to you directly - weeks later, to see if you would answer me that way?
I hope this is only a delay in responding and that everything is actually ok with you?
I have edited my requests now a couple times to resend more details on my grandfather "August Soderberg" to you... I don't want to request anymore times from the memorial for the date of my original contact keeps changing also. Would you please try to help me with these transfers I've been waiting on... I'd like to update all his family connections - he was the father of 13.
Thank you kindly, DebraLee

As my third summer appears to be coming to a fast close (brrr lately) I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your work with the Otter Tail Cemeteries.
As you can tell my first love with Find A Grave is traveling around the area fulfilling requests. As I'm sure you can also tell I love making edits and linking family members.
Your help in both areas cannot be measured.
I have a rule that when fulfilling requests I take and download pictures for all family members buried by the person requested.
Again, your efforts are a great help.
So, thanks again.
I just wanted to let you know that your work and efforts are appreciated.

|JKMartin||Daniel South-incorrect cemetery|
Hello, I just want to let you know that Daniel South is not buried in Ellisville cemetery and he is not in any of the cemetery records. He died in Michigan in 1947 and is buried there. Please remove him from Ellisville cemetery or here is the information if you would like to just add it as the bio and then put his burial as unknown. By doing this it won't affect any of the links and you won't be deleting him. Someone in the future can try to locate the cemetery. His family is indeed in the Ellisville Cemetery.
Name: Daniel G South
Event Type: Death
Event Date: 12 Mar 1947
Event Place: Erie, Monroe, Michigan,
Marital Status: Widowed
Birth Date: 17 Sep 1866
