I found this site by accident researching a family history. Since then, I have added my own family members and just recently have been able to take photos for other peoples loved ones. I am very excited to be a part of the Find a Grave Family and enjoy seeing how much the volunteer rate is growing.|
My daughter and I go out at least once a week to take photos. I make it a point to "flower" memorials daily that do not have any. I believe everyone should have flowers and never be forgotten. If I have made a memorial for a relative, I am more than happy to transfer, just let me know.

I added photo for John Jimerson. Beside him was Colis Jimerson who looking at the 1930 census is a son of John and Maudie. At the cemetery, in between Maudie and John are two adult unmarked graves. Must be related but whose to say who is there. Maudie is buried as a Savage but was married to a Jimerson. in 1930 is married to a Whisenhunt, but born a Sallas. Lots of last name changes for Maudie. Hope this helps.

I did not see any other Savage headstones but I did kind if rush through the cemetery. One question does pop into mind after seeing Maudie's findagrave page. Her son is listed as a Jimerson. Two plots over from Maudie was a john or James Jimerson. Any relation? Do you need that photo?

What an unexpected surprise! Thanks much for transferring the four Shatto memorials to me. As new things come to light I'll be tweaking them.
And a one-day late Merry Christmas to you and all the best for the New Year.

You're welcome! Best wishes.

I like to do the same thing. If I have taken a photo of a stone, I feel I at least owe them a "flower" as a documentation/token of my visit. Also a great idea to get your daughter involved. Carry on the good work. You are appreciated.

Thanks Sondra. Wonder how you call & prove you're a family member? And why in the world does it matter if you are family or not?

Hi Sondra. I would be glad to transfer any Sallas names I have found but it will be a week before I can get to it as I am not near my own computer. Send the names or numbers when you can. Judy

Thanks much for the message. I know Scott Shatto quite well and we work together quite closely.
I'll follow this with an edit request for the Antioch Cemetery memorials you manage. I just had a tremendous sense of deja vu earlier this morning.

I'm a Shatto family researcher developing and linking up memorials for all Shattos. I'm a Shatto descendent through my maternal grandmother.
I have a stupid question. Have I already sent you an edit request on Findagrave for Rocky M Shatto and his wife Nettie in Antioch Pioneer Cemetery?
Last night I was working on a number of edit requests and somehow deleted a bunch of my messages. This morning as I began working on Rocky Shatto's (again??) edit request it seemed I was repeating things.
Please let me know which way, OK?
Best, Barry Michie - Manhattan, KS

Thank you so much for the additional info. I agree the dates I have cannot be correct. If you could verify them (dob and dod) I'd greatly appreciate it and will update the memorial.
