64 year old ham operator who spends most of his time on dialysis. Searching and photographing grave markers has been a hobby for a long time.|
Park Lawn cemetery in Evansville has never been friendly or cooperative in any way. They want to charge $45 to show a person where a grave site is and now they no longer want photos of graves taken without family permission. 10-7-2011

I wanted to thank you for transferring my grandparents, the Standefords, to me. I thank you for your time and energy it takes to do this; I too have kidney issues and know how sick they can make you feel at times. Thank you!

Please link Dorothea to her husband Herman in Park Lawn Cemetery. Would you see if you can find an obit for both of them at the local library? Would make a nice addition to their memorials. Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave.

Oops, forgetful me - one option I didn't mention was that it was raining and reason for the metal on the stones looked dk and shiney. Can now see water drops on leaves. Everything looks chaulky when I go there cuz the area is so dry.

I should clarify that the pics I took today were "true to color". They weren't "washed out". None of the stones looked dk and shiney like your pics. That's why I wonder how you got them to look that way. Look nice. I'm posting pics to mem pgs because of the weeds finally not over top of stones (after they cleaned it up finally), not because they are "better" pics.

Today was first time I've seen this section cleaned up and free of weed overgrowth - so I took pics of all the stones (after pulling more sm weeds around stones). How do you get the metal to be dark and shiney? I've always had problems with "washing out" in pics, before ever started taking pics of stones. I brought water but dries too fast. Thanks, dg
