I love to go to cemeteries and walk among the headstones and wonder about the ones who lie beneath the sod. I am currently photographing cemetery headstones and putting them online. I like to travel when time and money permits. I like "digging" up info to fill in a blank space of an ancestor whether mine or someone else's. .|
My daughter Lorelei helps too. I couldn't do what I do without the help of my family members. They are priceless.
Would love for you to visit and leave flowers at my virtual cemeteries..especially the one for Mervil Lee Short in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Bishop, Nueces Co., Tx A Marine Veteran who served in the Vietnam War - his memorial number is 25736908
My research of my family includes Swearingen, Westfall,Short, Brinkley, Crawford, Lynch, Ross, Andress, Brown, Glasco, Defore/Defoor, Donaho, Isaacs/Isaacks and many others.
I also try to research on my granddaughter's side of her father's family. Locklear, Cochran, Richardson, Williams, Horton, Weems and Wolfe
You are welcome to copy any headstone photos I have placed on any memorial. I do not believe in a "copyright" on headstone photos as they are accessible to the public in most any cemetery. I would appreciate being notified you have done so.

Emily was my great-grandmother. Your note on her FindaGrave page is accurate.
You said "I received information that the Rachel listed as Emily's mother was actually her stepmother."
If the dates are accurate, Rachel and Emily were both born in the same year, 1840.
Emily's mother was Lucinda LaFore(or DeVore) Barrow.

Wanda, I got very mixed up today between this woman who married W A Mangum and the woman I was looking for Inez Emmitt Mangum who married A R Mangum. I sent in an edit for her name. Please ignore it. Thanks.

James was married to Nancy who was his first wife. He then married Francis Stidham aka Lina Stidham in Sterling City, TX in 1905. They had a son according to the 1910 census who was 3 years old.
|eleanor edmondson||Stidman Judkins-44789662|
This man's correct name is Zachariah M. Stidham. For unknown reasons he is buried on the Judkins plot with this incorrect name. We are in the process of getting a new marker for him as his was destroyed a number of years ago and never replaced. If you are a descendant please contact me, at firstname.lastname@example.org

I am researching my husband's mother's family & have hit a wall at Henry Wiggins b.1795 in South Carolina. He supposedly died n 1879 in Macoupin Co., Illinois.
I'm trying to find info on his father. I can't find a name.
Can you help me?

Thank you so much for taking the time to add my dad's gravesite information here. As I'm so far away, this makes it easier to visit when I miss him.
Hi, Wanda! Thank you for checking on Winnie Lanham's memorial. I would have gladly turned the two memorials in for merger so that you could have stayed the manager. Thanks again.
