Bio and Links
Bio Photo You meet all kinds of people on Findagrave... most of whom are helpful and co-operative. Just spending a few minutes a day on Findgrave can provide a great deal of genealogical input. Thank you for your co-operation! If I can assist anyone, please contact me.

My father, David Kennedy, was an avid genealogical researcher, so you could say, this was one of my inherited interests. He started his search in 1959 after meeting then Senator John F. Kennedy in Washington, DC. He asked my father if we were Catholic or Protestant Kennedys, after which Senator Kennedy suggested that since we were not Catholic, we must have entered the US via Northern Ireland. And the search continues...

Some of my direct lines are Kennedy, Clayton, Merritt, Head, Prothro, Crouch, Wright, Goodwin, Bledsoe, Breazeale, Smith, Guyton, Moorhead, Kirksey, Wyatt, Griffin, Richardson, Meyer, Johnston, Lott, Knox, Gaston, Barnett, Ray, Sharp, Alverson. I have been working on my genealogy since the 1990s. I always try to give credit to those who have done genealogical research ... just a very common courtesy.... Thanks y'all.

Glad to make your suggested correction on this memorial. This was quite an interesting family!

Accepted your suggestion. However, I'm not related to Ms. Verner, would you like for me to transfer the file to you?

Fran- Today you sent me two memorials that you were asking that I transfer. I will be glad to transfer but I deleted it off my phone and do not remember the name of the person. The only one I have is Ted Scrivener. If you can furnish me with the other memorial I will be glad to transfer.

RE: Transfers
That shouldn't be necessary. They are in good hands now. Always good to get them into the families hands so they can add information to them.

RE: Andrew Pickens Calhoun, II

I'm a little confused by your request. You mentioned that she died in Atlanta, but the memorial you created indicates she was cremated in Macon. Her ashes may not be in a cemetery. Also, the Death Certificate you put on her memorial is for Shirley Beckell Nisbet.

I'm going to Clemson on Thursday and can look at Woodlawn Cemetery to see if she is interred there. I doubt that she is. I already have photos of around 15 graves and her's isn't among them.
