You were helpful with information about Old Norbourne cemetery. Just wanted to let you know that it is separated from St. Joseph's by a street. St. Joseph's was completely locked up and unless you had someone come and let you in there was no way in. Norbourne was wide open and had been vandalized. It was terrible what had been done to it.
We did find graves and I am entering the photos, some not that great since things were hard to read.
We were able to find Norbourne, Green Hill and Rosedale cemeteries. We didn't have time to get to the rest. We did find all of the important graves that we were looking for.

Yes Anna Catherine did marry a Bradford. His name was John G. Bradford. I believe the G was for Godfrey but not 100% certain. I just recently added them on here. I know they are buried in Western Cemetery not far from her father Samuel S Ryland.I will e-mail you soon just have to gather all her info first that I have. Also I recently uploaded a photo of her to her find a grave memorial. Thank you again.

Hi..I was wondering are you a descendant of
Samuel S Ryland? I noticed you have him and other Ryland's sponsored on here. He was my great great grandfather. His daughter Anna Catherine Ryland is my great grandmother.She is the daughter from his first wife Elizabeth Ann Robinson. I also wanted to thank you for having the Ryland's on here.

|Susan Mitchell||John Pierre Burr Info Correction|
Many thanks for posting the info on John Pierre Burr, my husband's direct ancestor. I'd be grateful if you'd correct one piece. JP Burr and Hester Elizabeth Emory never had a child named David, to the knowledge of anyone in the family who has researched this line for many years and are in possession of family records. Any official record that might show a David Burr as a son is probably mistaking the husband of one of J P's daughters, two of whom married men named David. It was common for extended relations in this family to live with JP and Hester periodically. These two specific daughters were: Mary Letitia Burr (1820-1913) who married David Gordon (b. c1820) on 30 Jun 1842, and Julia Mathilda Burr (b. 1835) who married David Turner on 29 Jan 1863. Both marriages took place in Philadelphia. Thanks.
