Bartlett's Family
You say you are related and my wife is a Bartlett so maybe you two are related.
My wife's father was Clarence Bartlett then William Harrison Bartlett, David M Bartlett and William Royal Bartlett to name a few.
Would love to hear from you if you are related and share info and or pictures if you have any and we would do the same.
Thanks

Mabille De Montgomery
I found the source of her epitaph on wikipedia. Your suggestion was a good addition for her memorial. Thank you very much.....Audrey

Thomas Parke #52710240
Can I ask the source you used for this memorial? I visited the cemetery and was unable to locate their headstones. Not unusual for stones that old but I also contacted the association that maintains the cemetery. They do not have a record of Thomas or his wife being buried there.
That said, I still believe that is probably where they are. There are many Parke plots in the cemetery.

Mary Weed Smith
Are you the one who contributed the background information about Mary Weed Smith? If so, where did you get the information that her father was John Weed? There's a lot of information out there that says her father was Jonas Weed, but I think that's wrong. Because Jonas Weed's daughter Mary married somebody with the last name Abbott.

So, I'm trying to get at the real story. If you have some background information that would be helpful please let me know.

Thanks.

Abyram Stacy
Are you a descendant of Abyram Stacy & Puah Stevens? My husband is their great-great grandson. Can we exchange information on this family?

Desert View Cemetery
I noticed on the Desert View Cemetery you are saying that the office has no record of this person. Maybe the office needs to walk their cemetery and double check with what they have......

On the site below a person walked and transcribed the cemetery so some of the people could be on this list.

Desert View Cemetery transcribed

Might want to check it out.

God Bless You,
Sharla

RE: Re:Lydia Shipley Perham
Hi,

Sorry for the very belated reply here.

I'd be happy to double-check your references against mine if you want to send me links/data via Find A Grave (Click on "Edit" from Capt. John Shipley's profile, then "Suggest a Correction").

I included several references on his profile from which I checked John and Lydia's decendents. These references are available doing a search on Google books.

Sincerely,
David Shipley Jr.

Josiah Brooks in Old Eastbury Cemetery, Glastonbury, CT
Thanks so much for the additional information on Josiah Brooks! I have added the info to the bio, added links for brother Samuel and son David and also added photos for Josiah and David. David's stone looks like a double stone so someone else is probably buried there but the stone is partially buried so the bottom half can't be read.
Thanks again, Karen
