|I love contributing to findagrave! Normally, I maintain the memorial records, & my husband, Wm. John Heslop, takes all the fantastic photos! We enjoy taking a picnic with us, especially to some of the remote locations, & just spend the day documenting! Each cemetery that I have listed has someone, even distantly, that we are related to! We may be FAMILY!!|

|CSTNETN||Cox Cemetery, Sullivan County|
Hi, there are several (61) people listed in the Cox Cemetery of Sullivan County, Tennessee that are not buried there. This cemetery is on my family's farm. I have added photos to the three known graves there and would appreciate it if you would remove the other memorials. Thanks!!

Lizzie McGough is my great grandmother. Would you mind transferring her to me, please.
|MDJr||Bert R. Kennedy|
Bert Kennedy #88090350 in Find A Grave was my father in law. He had no "R" as middle initial. His name was R.B."Bert" Kennedy. Please correct-thanks

I was so excited when I found you had recorded this man's memorial on Findagrave. I had looked and checked everywhere, but when I rechecked, it had been added by YOU. Thank you so much for that. I am not related to him, but would like to add some history to his Bio, and if you want to transfer it to me, that would be fine; I could then transfer back to you. I've done that a few times. However, I can send the bio and have you add it if that is acceptable. I will use the Edit for it. --Winnie (wvy)

Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you, girl. But I know you enjoy every little tidbit of info you come across. I agree...the census records are pretty confusing at times; one year a person will be listed as "Sallie", ten years later she will be "Sarah", and another ten years later she will be "Elizabeth" or "Lizzie", which was probably her middle name. My mom's name was "Ila Merle"; in the 1920 census the recorder put "Tlamerr"! It's also frustrating when ladies' tombstones have their names as "Mrs. J.D. So and So"; I never know if it's her initials or his. Have you had problems with Louisiana marriages? I guess I haven't conquered the technique to access those yet. A lot of them were common-law marriages and no records are to be had. I have all kinds of trouble figuring out maiden names. I guess this is what makes it all so interesting. Everything is not spelled out clearly and it's a challenge to get it all together. Good luck with your digging!

Wow, how confusing! I wonder if the mother of the second Rufus was aware that a Rufus Roberson already existed so close by, and near the same age??? So this family is your kin?
|Iris Meshell||RE: H.H. Ham, Jr. & Sr.|
Hey, Stacy ...
I totally trust your judgment on this one. It is so confusing when two people with the same name were born near the same time, and lived near each other! Thanks for noticing this.
