A Thank you from a 3rd cousin
Hello Linda,
I really appreciate all the work you have done on the Walker family memorials in Spalding Idaho.
I noticed that you are the grt. grt. grandchild of John and Marenda Walker, which I am also, making us third cousins. I have some of your family history in some genealogy papers that I received a number of years ago. I am the grt. granddaughter of Jimmie McKinley Walker, and from my information you are the grt. granddaughter of his sister whom I will not name publicly in case you would rather keep this private. I would really love to contact some family members that have photos or stories, or any information to share, and maybe swap what information we have with each other. I always get excited to meet up with a relative. Thank you once again for your work.
Sincerely, Naturalbohemian

Jost Hite photos
I greatly appreciate your adding photographs of the old stone home ruins and the graveyard for the Hite family. May I add those photos to my Jost Hite's Ancestry file? Thank you for considering my request, Carol Willis

RE: Urilla lamb
Check Urilla's stone on Find A Grave, I found a better, more clear picture of it. Rosemary

RE: Urilla lamb
I took a better picture of Urilla's stone today, if you'd like me to upload it.

RE: Urilla lamb
You're quite welcome. I just accidentally stumbled upon her stone "buried in day lilies" while walking the 8 acres. She is buried beside James Nichols and his 3 wives; Basil Lamb is buried in MO. Which family line do you come from--Nichols, Ruddell, Lamb? I have done extensive research on that family 1) my aunt Sarah married Millard Arthur Ruddell; 2) New Providence Cemetery and Old Stone Church, hoping to get it on the Nat'l Register of Historic Places. I will publish my research, which is about 255 pgs now. I've done quite a bit on Rev Stephen Ruddell and his descendants buried in New Providence, including their stones. I'll be glad to share those pages if you're interested. You may contact me direct:

Geo Bowman Home photo
Linda Ellis

Diplomatically and with the best of intentions may I please talk about a Lenville home photo you have attached to the George Bowman (1707-1768) Find A Grave memorial:

I am aware of his old home at Ft Bowman in today's Shenandoah County, VA (formed years ago from Frederick Co.) - and this is located on the 1000 acre plantation he settled upon in the mid 1700's. I am also aware he had a town house in Winchester VA. But I'm unaware of any home on Lenville Creek belonging to this George Bowman.

I have researched and written about this George Bowman for 50 years, as well as head I up the Bowman database records for the Hite Family Association, a national organization. I am unaware of the Lenville home you photographed having a George Bowman connection. With all my respect and courtesy possible, would you please help me locate a documented connection of this home to George Bowman? Hoping for your comments please?
