My Great-grandfathers were James S. Shiver and James A. Mikell, Grandparents were George W. Shiver and Mary E. Mikell wh are buried in New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Jennings, Fl.|
I live in Lawrenceville, Ga, have 4 children, 8 grands and 7 ggrands.
I have been doing genealogy research for about 3 years and am having a really good time with it.

No sorry she didn't, that was the reason I left the marker next to her in the picture in case you wanted to double check me on the location.

Just looks like her metal funeral home marker, which marked the location of her grave until the stone was set. Many people simply leave them sticking in the ground even tho a headstone has been set.
I didn't shoot this photo....a friend of mine did.
