FOR ME TO BE ONLINE DUE TO MY HUSBAND'S
HEALTH. I DO APPRECIATE YOUR
LOVELY TOKENS YOU LEAVE FOR MY FAMILY.
PLEASE KEEP OUR FAMILY IN YOUR THOUGHTS
AND PRAYERS. MAY GOD BLESS
EACH OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I want to thank each of you for your thoughts
and prayers. Your kindness means a great deal
to me and my family.
I'm retired, doing genealogy work & enjoy helping on the findagrave.com website. I'm a proud Okie., born & raised in Oklahoma. I am of Cherokee decent, as my Great Grandfather and Grandfather signed the Dawes Rolls. I have been doing my 'Long' family tree for years and have found so many cousins online.
It has certainly been interesting and most enjoyable meeting and hearing from new distant family members. I have learned so much about
my ancestors and their lives down through the generations, I hope to perserve their memories for future generations to come. This is why I like working on the findagrave site, hoping to help others looking for their loved ones. I have found others to be very helpful and kind to share information.
My husband and I are enjoying our church, family & early retirement.
Aren't the Grands Fun?!!!
We have two beautiful granddaughters.
Madison, 10 and Gracie 8........

Hello, I don't know anymore than is related on find a grave. Malala was my 3rd great Aunt. Her father was John Wesley Burchfiel and her mother was Maryann Manervia Alley. She married Nathaniel Grant Taylor Fox. I have 12 children for them. Best Wishes, Kaye

Thank you so much for visiting Lizzie Mark's memorial and thinking of her. It means a lot to me that you do. Have a wonderful day.

This is the part I was referring to the dates don't add up it is referring to the GGFather he would have been 97 yrs old in 1682 if the marriage date is 1682. I copied it here so you can see where I'm confused. I have nothing to add I'm trying to fill in the blanks of my P. Grandmothers line and she goes back to this line of John Combs. Thank you for all your hard work I know how hard it is and I've been trying to do it as well..and I'm just groping in the dark most of the time.
"John Combs was the son of
Archdale Combs and Elizabeth Butler.
It is believed that John's grandfather,
John Combs, was the immigrant to the new
country. John Combs was born in 1589, in
Yorkshire,England U.K. and he came to the
America's on May 20, 1619 at the age of 30.
He traveled on the ship, "Marigold"
and sailed from England to Jamestown,
He married Hannah Ann 'Mason'
in 1682 in Virginia and they
were the parents of
two known children:
Mason (Sr.) "

Hello Phyllis & Don, it has been a long long time. I finally had a day for myself that I was able to do a little fowering, after 5 months. You know the old adage [everything happens in 3's] - I guess it changed for me that [everything happens in 4's]. I kept saying "this too shall pass" and it did.
Been going to Eye Doctor most all of April & oh, how tiresome.
So pleased to hear that Don has been completely cleared of his health problems & June will be here soon, for his check-up, which will also come out with wonderful results.
Take care my friend & hoping this message finds you doing fantastic. Probably won't be flowering much, maybe once a week, if lucky.
Thanks so much for your messages & will talk attcha later.
Bye for now, Ruth

104365443 - I understand your problem, but didn't think in that direction when I wrote you. This stuff is still new to me.
|Ron Combs||Margaret Archdale|
I am not a genealogist, but I've been trying to solve a puzzle for my family, by identifying Margaret, mother of Archdale (1625) in Virginia, and wife of John Combs (Jamestown John) as she was deceased (1632) by the time Archdale was born in 1641. Note: It is said that she married John of London in 1639 (England). The problem is that we can't prove that Archdale (1641) ever came to Virginia, but that an Archdale was in Virginia. John (1662) was the son of Archdale.

I Photographed the entire cemetery and posted all of it on findagrave I don't recall anyone by that name but she may have an unmarked grave or it may be marked by a field stone with no lettering. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
|Will Motsinger||RE: Chelsea, Ok. cemetery|
The Joseph in the photo, as I understand it, was a brother to Ephraim Moore Berry. Joseph married Jane Lockenour, daughter of Amos & Elizabeth Sides Lockenour. Ephraim married Elizabeth's sister Elimina Sides. Ephraim & Elimina are buried in the Louisville, Ky., Cave Hill Cemetery.
I am descended through both the Sides & Lockenour Families, but other than sharing
common ancestors I am not directly related to the Berry line. If Joseph M. was married to anyone else I am not aware of it.
The information I have said that Joseph M. came to Indiana with his wife Jane to help attend to Jane's mother Elizabeth, & died there unexpectedly, & the body was shipped back to Oklahoma, where they lived, for burial..

I live in south FL and only go to TN every few years or so. Maybe ask user Robin Lee, she is a friend of mine. She lives up there and does a lot photographing of the cemeteries in Blount County.
